Mine went back today too! Although I'm thrilled, I'm a little lost with all the quiet and emptiness in the house!
mine starts next Monday, the 23rd. This week is school clothes and supply shopping.....I detest both. LOL It is so hard to shop with a 13 yo old girl for both. She can't have just plain folders you know! They need to be decorated! .....geez Mom, how dare me for even thinking such a thing. :
Only one of mine goes back on Sept. 7th, which is the norm here in Canada... my youngest still has one more year to go...
Wow! I can't believe some of you have already started back! Seems early! My oldest starts 1st grade on Aug 30th and the youngest (who is excited beyond words) starts preschool on Sept 8th.
Emma starts on the 23rd...just a week away. Camden will go to preschool 3 days a week starting the 1st week of september.
My son starts Kindergarten next Thursday. I am not sure how happy I am about it. I am a SAHM now and am not looking forward to an empty house everyday. Gotta figure out what to do with myself everyday.
so can i just say we went school supply shopping the other day... NOT including their bookbags, I spent $106 and STILL have to go back for more because they were sold out of a lot of the supplies! Plus on top of that, we still have to go pay our school fees, which will be a combined $200. And I think I spent another $85 on backpacks. Uggh! That just seems like a lot of money for crayons, markers, pencils, etc. LOL! But I LOVE how excited they are to get to pick out their supplies and get them all labeled and ready for school! One more week! They start 1 week from tomorrow! Yippeeee!!!!!
Really? It wouldn't take me but two second to figure out a list a mile long of things to do with myself if I had the pleasure of being home alone all day long! LOL! Wanna trade? Oh yeah! I have to remember to label stuff this year too! Thanks for the reminder!
