My mom uses that program! I use Paint Shop pro 9, but have a newer version coming with my new laptop ( was a freebie) I've never used any other program.
I use PhotoImpact X3 bought for a very low cost and I got PhotoShop free at Adobe, there's no update and you can't use actions but other than that I think it work just great. You need to register. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html#
The downloads there are for people who purchased CS2 and are having problems with it. It is not intended to be a giveaway to anyone who wants it, although I doubt they're enforcing that at all. It does say at the top what it's for, though.
Well I got an email from Adobe where they invited me to download it for free and I've never bought PS. This's an old version and that's why they offer it. At least that what they said in that email. I'm on their mailinglist since I've other programs from them and that could be the reason I was invited.
