25 March- Mastering - This month lets try mastering Paper Piecing! Yep! Cutting paper with our digital programs and doing mixed media pages. Like cutting paper freehand, and then outlining your cut pieces with pens digitally. I put together a little video (excuse my husky voice, have the end of a cold). As stated in the video, this is a learning week, not an earning...lol, one of the best parts of this world is how everyone loves to help each other learn or master their program to make pages that are in your heart come to be! So taking this technique, try to make your inspiration of a hot air balloon. This is YOUR page, your ART, so play and enjoy. The process of learning and creating is a HUGE part of Mixed Media pages. Relax and turn on some jazzy music and create! I can't wait to see your pages! PLEASE, if you have a different way to do this...share! I want to learn along with you too! cool tutorial... reminder to learn how to do something different. I rarely use inner glow, or any styles, besides shadows. I don't think I have polygonal lasso, but I can try with shapes. hmm...
I forgot to double check while I was scrapping today. I do not have pen tool, and as far as I remember, I only have magnetic lasso. But, I can use shapes for text, and i know the shape tool can fo some ccustom hapes... and if I can make custom shapes and then use those as a clipping layer, it would still work.
