Spring was my inspiration. This is certainly not my style! It is the first time I play with these Art Dolls, but, I have to admit, it was really fun to try. What came out ... I will let you judge. Thank you, @MrsPeel , for pushing my limits!
Love this challenge, Cynthia! And thank you to Tangie for the templates! I was inspired by summer and the pop of red in the photo.
This is definitely not something I would do on my own. Thanks for not making us write a page of journaling too! My season is clearly autumn.
The creative MOJO is most definitely flowing in this thread! Love this challenge ... well - I haven't made a doll yet, but I do love the layouts everyone has done so far!! You are all rocking it!!!
This was very much out of my comfort zone... but I really like how it came out. Once I found the kit I wanted to use (Treasured: Lilypad Collab), I started to get a vision and was pretty excited! My first ever AJ page, and though I didn't think it would end up printed, I think I may use it as a cover or even an end page in a book. I was initially inspired by the music of Spring, but ended up with colors more like Fall. You can see me with my seven treasures lined up behind me. Family is the greatest treasure we've been given.
I used to love paper dolls when I was a kid... creating my art doll brought back memories of dressing up my paper dolls!
I have been watching this thread all day and have a few ideas. I am off to physical therapy (pinched nerve in back) and will start working on may page soon
All righty. I am not good at these more abstract layouts...hope this is ok... She is a happy, nature-loving photographer. And I used the bright colors of Spring and Summer for inspiration
Oh my! This was FUN! Thanks for this challenge! I've played and played and played! Thanks for the beautiful music to create by also! I was inspired by Spring. Here is my page:
Still think these dolls are creepy....I tried not to cover her up as much as possible. Tempted to cover her almost completely up, but I refrained. Now hopefully she doesn't come to life tonight and kill me. Yeah I am a child of the 80's and was terrified by Chucky!! Anyways, thank you for the template. I would not have been able to do this without it. The layout came out just like I envisioned so it was a win-win day!! Oh and my inspiration was Summer with the reds and there is a little bit of blue in there. But mostly inspired by the reds.
Fun challenge! thanks for the template. Also I thank the music, transported me to my childhood, when my dad used to be alive, he used to sit down on a dark green leather seat and read the newspaper, for some reason, he listened four seasons or Carmina Burana meanwhile he read the newspaper, I remember me playing on the floor laying on the rag, and watching him being so deep in the reading, was my idol. So I made my doll trying emulate a little girl.
