Is anyone watching this show? My husband is totally enthralled. I'm so-so about it. It reminds me of "Fringe" but I'm not quite as into it as he is.

Anyway it's a new Netflix mini series and has received a green light for a second season I think. Creepy weird things... proceed with caution. We don't turn it on of the small ones are awake!

One of the actors is at salt lake Comic Con this weekend, so I'm thinking of checking out the show. DH watched the first episode and loved it. Good to know I have company if it's not my cup of tea!

First of all, there are no spoilers in this post. :) Just to warn people lol.
OMG, no joke but I was just thinking of starting a thread here about the show too! :) We are 3 episodes in and loving it. DH, who normally falls asleep in the recliner by 8:30 lol no matter what we're watching, has stayed wide awake until 10pm to watch eps. 10! TEN! That's like, 3am to people without young kids. :giggle Anyway, it is definitely creepy, and I have to admit that I'm worried about how long the series will go on. I don't want it to linger like LOST did, which IMO by the end had turned into a caricature of itself. I want it wrapped up neatly in a few more seasons (because I'd rather it end "early" with me loving it than have it end with me wanting to throw my shoe at the TV).

Same here, I always watch the clips later.

Here's the link to the game he played with them...

And here is part of the interview with them (wee bit of a spoiler though, not a big plot spoiler though)...

Ugh... I can't keep it from showing the title with a preview, so I removed it.

Hubby binge watched it, but I haven't started it yet . . . the bits I saw walking through the living room looked exciting!

I binge watched it, as the rest of my family wanted to see it so ... I usually just go along with whatever they want. I thought it was pretty good ... I like seeing Winona on the screen again, plus the kids were so darling together ... it had that old school Sandlot, Goonies kind of nostalgic feel for me ... some of it was a bit weird. I usually lose interest in the 2nd season though ... they always take it way too far! We shall see.

I'll have to check that out @tkradtke ... I really loved watching those kids!

I loved it. I liked the Stephen King vibe it had, and it totally made me nostalgic for the 80s too. :) My daughter and I binge-watched it late at night after everyone had gone to bed (over a couple of evenings), so I want to go back and watch it again once school starts to catch anything I missed while I had my hands over my eyes. :giggle

My hubby and I loved it! It is definitely creepy and an homage to the 80s horror films but it wasn't too bad for me. Although I didn't want to get off the couch a few times in case something was on the floor :giggle

The kids were adorable. I'll have to watch that clip @tkradtke

We finished it Tues night. I saw some of the "twists" coming but I'm very happy with how the season wrapped up. But now I have to wait until season 2. Boo hoo! :cry:waiting
