Well, my avatar matches my custom tag line right now . . . LOL . . . so no, it doesn't look like me. But I usually take lots of selfies, scrap about myself, and have an avatar that really is me most of the time . . . so I **think** I would be recognizable.
No I don't, that was Oct. 2014. My hair is longer & lighter now. I let my white streak grow out because I really don't know what I want to do with my hair. This is me this week:
This made me giggle! I took my new photo on Mother's Day this year, so I would hope people would recognize me! Granted, I usually am not wearing makeup, but I think I look similar. My last one was taken March 2015 by Cheryl, @gonewiththewind . If you ever get a chance, let her take your avatar! It'll be lovely. And maybe @Iowan I'll have to change it out every month or so just to throw you off! LOL.
YES! I have this problem! I couldn't decide what to do with my hair back in 2014, seriously, I scrapped a page about it: And all it's done is grow longer since. Because I still can't decide.
What an interesting topic. I think this image of me is a little dated. I change my image on FB, just haven't taken the time to do it here. What's different now? My hair is darker, longer, and straight. Since it's summer there are freckles present on my face, neck, and shoulders. What's the same? Still very cheeky, green eyes, no (or very little) makeup. Funny story... my husband still claims that I have at least 100 different looks. He is amazed that I can take several photos and look so different in each one. His words... not mine.
ohhh no!!! being green as Elphie is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I had so much fun every time I dressed up as Elphaba... one of my dreams would be to be Elphaba on stage...though that wont ever happen, if I ever can come back on stage and get lucky by being casted for Wicked...would be Madam Morrible I think she has a bunch of LOs with Mr Of Alamo in it, and he is quiet recognizable... I have to say, for the ones iof us who followed Anne's Facebook when she was in, at least I, see that he is as fun and cheeky as she is...even probably more so!!! he used to change his name and avatar, and I think there was a point in which he named himself Freddy Mercury or something of sort...I know it made me laugh out loud!!!! you are so right.... Sarita came to me, not sure what we were talking about but she mentioned the latest trend with celebrities is grey hair, she said she thinks I would pull it of very well, but I said I'm not so sure. She then showed me some photos....it looks great but these are people who can pay $$$$$ £££££ on hairdressers so I don't think me letting my grey grow would look that cool, plus the pain of seeing yourself half red half white? nope LOL I was tempted to go hairdresser to do it as a start up, when I argued with her last month and decided I would spend her Uni money on myself and go for a cruise and a round USA trip LOL. But then I came to my senses so it'll be Clairol for now ( or Schwarzkopf in my case!!!) oh Jenn!!!! I have seen tons of photos of you over the years...you are so gorgeous!!!!!!! I know we tend to be critical, but you are truly gorgeous. Most of the time, I think, the interior beauty also reflects on the outside, you already have the outside beauty and your inside also comes through LOL at the current avie, but yes, I think I would recognize you anywhere!!!! I have seen for the past 6 years a bunch of photos of yours in LOs and avies, and we saw you in the Adobe chat room when you were live so...yes I think I recognize you for sure. Have I ever mentioned the woman who interviewed me in (I think it was 2011) the USA embassy for the visa looked like your twin sister? love the page, love the avie, I think you should swap it!! you look far younger now, and more beautiful!!!!! I can say she is beautiful and lovable and sweet and so so much younger looking than she is in age!!! We skype, so I have seen her, clean look, no make up, and she is beautiful!!!!!!!! I think we all , or at least most of us, can have many looks in different photos. I know I tend to scrap only the best, but I have changed that lately, after something we spoke about here doing the We Are Story tellers event (was it 2014?) same as I used to extract the background when the place was messy ... but we talked about the memory keeper aspect of the whole thing and when we scrap those not so good photos of ourselves, the messy house...we are making sure the history is being recorded truthfully.... now for my avatar of course I want the best photo of me.... but I try choosing something current OR something that reflects me at the present time..... Funny thing about you guys who are thrown by both Anne's & Courtney's @bestcee s avatars... I see the same Anne, maybe a bit more far away, but that smile, those eyes and general body language is all the same, and same with Courtney, I just thought a was a more made up photo of hers....but still her all the same....
Yep that's me. If you rotate it 90 degrees ha ha I'm, super lazy so I guess I continue to look on the world at an angle LOL!
I guess I'm sort of similar though this is a super old photo, need to change it but will have to wait til after I move.
I recognized you when we met almost 4 years ago. That was one of my worries: will I know these women? But y'all looked like your pics (avatars, scrapped pics, etc).
IDK how old my avi is... maybe 6, or maybe 3, years? (I can't remember if the pic was taken before or after DS was born rotfl.) But I still look like that, except I cut my hair last month. It's now quite short. I need to scrap the new 'do!
I think mine looks pretty much exactly like me. At least it's me in the cooler half of the year. For several years now I've had an annual hair-cutting routine. I decided the best time for cutting my hair is around the beginning of autumn. I have it cut to chin length and let it grow out the rest of the year, so that in the summer it's long enough to pull up into a ponytail or bun, which is how I live through the hot humid Virginia summers. Like this: edited to add: If you click on this page you can view it on my website, and if you click the X on THAT page at my website you'll see my 2015 scrapbook gallery which contains some pictures of me. My avatar is 2.5 years old but I haven't changed a lot in that time and I like it and use it in about 50 places so I'll keep it awhile longer. I used my previous avatar for about 3 years, so maybe in the next year I'll make a new one.
Mine looks generally like me, except I ALWAYS take my glasses off for pictures. And I don't have bangs, and my hair is darker. So that's probably a no.
I just recently chopped my hair off to this length again, so even though my pic is about 4 years old, it more or less looks like me... if you happen to catch me at this exact angle, which hides my extra chin!
Yep, my avatar is pretty much what I look like. I think I've changed glasses since then because they fell off my bed and I stepped on them! But the new ones are black/white too.
Wow! It's been that long? That was a busy and fun day. I would say that you look very much like your current avatar. I def wanna see your shorter hair. Since we are on the topic of shorter hair, Isabelle is wanting to get her hair cut in a pixie style, but I am not sure how that will work with her mega curls. a bit on Skype. Cyn... you sure know how to make a girl feel special! We have seen each other quite a bit of each other via Skype. I am thankful for technology when it works! We celebrated my birthday a little early since we are soon traveling. Anyway, at the restaurant the waitress wanted to confirm my age as "29" before they embarrassed me with a loud rendition of the birthday song! HA! My children's eyes got really big and they both tried to correct her, I stopped them and explained that when you are older you don't want the world to know the number, because you are too busy trying to pull off how you look and feel, not how many years you have been around. They don't quite get it since they are in such a hurry to be older.
