Speed Scrap Mar 10 - Instructions and Layouts

Hi everyone

Here are the speed scrap steps from today's Chat so that you can follow along even if you aren't in the chat room. I hope you have fun!!

1 - Start with a plain or neutral background paper as your base and then add a nice wide strip of patterned paper to the right side of the page

2 - Select 1 photo and a frame and place them in the top right hand side of the page, so that half is over the patterned paper and half is over the neutral paper

3 - Select a nice big paint splat and place it under the photo AND under the patterned paper (so that it only shows on the neutral paper)

4 - Select two different elements of the same kind (ie: two different hearts, two different butterflies) and place them on the photo frame and then scatter a few flowers around them (you choose how many )

5 - Fasten down the patterned paper to the page (you can use any form of fastening element ie: stitching, staples or even buttons)

6 - Find a nice big word art or title that sums up exactly how the photo on your page makes you feel!​

and you are DONE!!!

Don't forget that you must have your page posted here and in the Speed Scrap Gallery by: 11pm EST/8pm PST - Mar 10th to qualify! I will be PMing the eligible scrappers their participation prize from this thread. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!
