I did the Ad Inspiration Challenge again. I really really loved that inspiration. I was inspired by geometric shapes in this LO.
Thanks to some help from Cynthia, I was able to fix what I didn't like about Day 23. Here is the new one.
I had not previously participated in any challenge, but this month I have the chance, so I bring my Layout and put into practice a simple detail but has long wanted to do: cut a word in a photograph. Here is my result: Credits: Doodles -Cool Britannia- & -Great Britons- (Kate Hadfield) Alpha -Great British- (Kate Hadfield) Papers -Red White 'N Blue- (Kate Hadfield)
I too really wanted to practice those cut outs again, after spending the time watching the tutorial and learning how to do them. LOVE the look.
I chose the January 5: Embracing Imperfection (Photography Challenge) Many of my photos from a few years back are definitely imperfect- but I still love them! For this layout I adjusted the brightness as well as the vibrance/saturation. While still not 'perfect' they capture my story nonetheless!
Thanks for the challenge. It was fun to revisit the MOC challenges. I decided to do MOC 16 - using paint/brushes as a mask.
There were so many MOC challenges I loved and want to do again, but for this challenge I chose Day 19 - Clean and Simple. C&S is something I am determined to learn how to do and it is still SO HARD for me! I'm going to just keep working at it. A few months ago I couldn't do pocket layouts, either, but I kept trying until I got the hang of it.
I did MOC 24 - Redo a LO. I actually love the composition of my original layout, but the colors and elements are all wrong for the subject matter. I might lift this design at some point. I think the new LO fits better. Original: New LO:
I had not had a chance (or the courage, or whatever) to participate in MOC, so this was a great opportunity! I went with the January 4th photoless challenge
