January 22: Ad Challenge

I went with the triangles for my inspiration...

 

I thought the Storyteller 2016 templates (by Just Jaimee) were perfect for this! I was inspired by the simple colors with a few pops and the triangles.

I was inspired by the triangles and the diagonal face in the ad.

 

I picked up on the triangles and ran with it...

I was inspired by the "black and white" and "graphic" feeling (the face in the ad) and the word "Living" (life made me think about the way we live and the future) -- I hope it's ok!

 

I was inspired by all the angles.

i really loved the angles in this ad so i used them to mimic the bat wings in my photo

I loved this ad for this challenge!! I was inspired by the triangles and the white journaling.

Inspiration from ad - grey background, triangles, minimal colours blue, green (albeit different tones/hues), black and grey, half tone photo (thanks Mirjam for tutorial) and different sized/staggered letters for title.

Here's mine... went with the triangles and color blocking-ish. I don't think I would have thought to use this paper this way from Lynne-Marie's kit. Fun!

 

Here's mine. I was inspired by the geometric patterns- mostly diamonds and triangles - and the black and white photos with plain blocks of color around them.

 

I was inspired by the triangles, bold colors, black and white, and the face. I wanted to make a bold, clean layout.
