Great tutorial! I use the text spacing tool a lot in my pocket pages for journaling purposes and because my type A personality NEEDS that tool!! On this page I used it to fit my journaling lines.
I modified the leading so I could keep the text the same size as my other pages and fill the section I used for journaling:
I used Leading for my text spacing challenge. This is the 2nd page in a 2 page layout. I made the first page for the January 2nd challenge.
I used the leading on my journaling to make it fill up the space. I also used tracking on my title to make the letters of the cursive font fit better together. I used both horizontal and vertical scale on the title to get the look/fit I wanted
I adjusted the leading on the journaling for this page about my husband's weekend in Dubai (part of my PL week 47).
Here's my Day 3 layout. I adjusted the line spacing so the journaling fell on the lines. (Only option available in Artisan)
I changed the horizontal scale of the word "Date" to make it the same width as "First," and I decreased the leading a tiny bit on the journaling to make it fit the area I wanted it to be in.
Here is my layout: I changed the leading on the journaling font to match the gridlines on the card and the leading in the subtitle. I also changed the letter spacing on some of the text. Great challenge!
Day 3: I used leading to get the text on the lines and tracking to squeeze the text a bit closer together.
Used leading on the quoted text and vertical on the background "Alice in Wonderland" to stretch it slightly longer (very subtle though).
I adjusted the leading and the tracking to fit the journal card. p.s. someone should challenge me to stop making blue pages..this is my third in a row
