I don't know if any of you are familiar with the work of Joseph Cornell, but he was an "assemblage" artist, and he is well-known for creating his works of art inside boxes. For any of you who are itching to try hybrid projects, this would be fabulous. I can totally picture seeing some of the M3 elements and background papers perched inside of shadow boxes with some real life pieces thrown in as well. Here are some examples of his work and a couple of links to information about him. http://www.nytimes.com/1997/03/20/garden/the-stay-at-home-life-as-muse.html http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9F05EEDB1430F931A35754C0A9609C8B63 http://www.pem.org/sites/cornell/# And if you are inspired, you can create one of your own, take a photo and share it in the Joseph Cornell Box Gallery. http://www.josephcornellbox.com/gallery_menu01.htm
