This is funny - because the thread you posted about the destash fun thing that is coming is what made me go ahead and order mine!
Oh... someone may have it figured out *shhhh* BTW, that will be posted on Monday, Feb 6th (if not before).
So... is this the best deal for this? http://amzn.to/1esKDeQ Or can it be gotten somewhere else cheaper? Just curious for those of you who have ordered... I think it's awesome for those non-sewers among us (sad face b/c that includes me).
That looks like a good price. I ordered a bundle online from hsn last week that has extras added to it, but it was $20 cheaper than it is on their site now - I love that when you use the "dotted" wheel (idk what it's really called) that it looks like stitching. I am all about the stitches, and can't wait to play with it to make planner sized fun stuff!
I can't remember where I was, probably in Hobby Lobby, but I saw some of those waterfall pages and almost bought some!!
Saw the Fuse on a class site that included a demo on how to use the fuse tool. You can even use metal cookie cutters to create shapes using the pointy attachment. My Hobby Lobby girl said she has been requesting it but can't get it so I finally ordered it from the big "A" and it is supposed to be here on the 9th. Can't wait since it looks like such fun. I wish I had ordered some of the waterfall sleeves to build up my total for free shipping but I ordered a book instead.
That is about what I paid for mine. It isn't available in any of my local stores so I had to go online to buy it.
Sooo... ready to use that Fuse tool? https://the-lilypad.com/forums/showthread.php/37696-Lilypad-Letters-All-You-Need-to-Know
Mine came today, a day early, yeah. Love it. Made a triangle shaker in one of the pockets and filled with sequins. Got to get some more filler items. It worked perfectly. Thought I would share some tips I picked up from You Tube: 1. Heat tool 10 minutes before using with roller or pointy tip already in tool. 2. When using the roller use a cardboard surface under your project so the roller has something to grip as it rolls. 3. Roll toward you. 4. I taped the pointy tip to the heating base that holds the tool while heating. (Too easy to lose such a small item).
