Yeah...I know snow is in the north, heat down under...but I so so loathe day upon day of rain.
    Do you love it? Rain?
    or hate it?

I would rather have warmer weather with rain than the freezing rain we got today :/

I will take any rain that isn't freezing right now to wash away all our snow. Unfortunately, I think it is going to rain later today and it is going to be freezing.

And I'm not even in the north.

I love A day of rain (just one) every few weeks if I can be at home. But day after day of it, when we are used to having sunshine is no fun - cabin fever sets in and everyone is cranky!

I like rain in pretty much every season except winter. In winter, it just seems dreary!
But I'll take a day (like Danielle) of gentle spring rain, or a summer storm, or even a cool fall rain that puts the smell of fallen leaves in the air!

I too enjoy a day of rain every now and again - but not continual. I love a good thunderstorm (when I'm home)!

I really don't like the rain! The cold is bad enough, but with the rain and damp - it gets right in my bones! Arthritis sucks! LOL

I like rainy days, so I can stay home and be cozy. I love summer thundershowers. I don't want rainy days for too many days - I need to see the sun/sky :)

I agree with Laura, winter is blah with rainy days - it does become dreary!

I'll take rain over snow at this point though. We are getting more tonight/tomorrow. Ugh!

today we have had snow, then freezing ice pellets and apparently it is going to change over to rain a bit later this evening. . .

I don't mind a nice gentle rain now and then, especially in the summer. Bonus if it takes the humidity away.

I like a rainy day, if I can just be home, watching tv, reading a book or scrapping. I am not so much a fan of rainy days that I have to be in and out of--and my preference would be a single day versus many days of continual rain!!

I love a rain once a week in the summer - it waters my gardens for me, lol. And right now it is snowing (again...ugh) with icing in the forecast tomorrow, so I would much rather have full on rain at this point. But day after day of rain definitely gets old!

Hey, in Seattle there is NO CHOICE. If you hate it you're just going to be unhappy so much of the time. It does give us the most beautiful place on earth to live - green, green, green. And when the sun does come out, no one LOVES the sun more than us!

yes- with our arthritis - plus the fibro- plus my leg full of metal pieces inside-....rain isn't a nice thing, even indoors-
I always know when rain is coming...because I can't move- need to increase medication and sometimes even that doesn't work-
    and we live in England.....
so, Diane....a bit like you...we have no much option as here it rains quiet a lot...
in Brazil is easier to deal with, because it isn't cold...
    :giggle

there is one thing I like about rain...sometimes you get awesome photos.....

We had freezing rain here yesterday. It started after I was at work, so I thought it was just regular rain here to melt away our snow... then we got a company wide email saying be careful even walking outside because of the ice. Gotta say I was REALLY happy that my hubby is picking me up right at the back door since I'm still using my fancy scooter to get around after my foot surgery a couple weeks ago.

In the summer I don't mind rain too much, but after a few days it can get annoying if it's stopping me from getting outside (and the kids outside). Sometimes we sent them out anyway and they love that! :)

usually i totally agree with it. and for sure days and days of it can be downright BLAH. but right now ... i want the rain bc it means 2 things:
    1) it is not freezing
    2) there is the possibility of all this snow melting a bit? haven't seen the actual ground since, oh i don't know, early jan or late dec i guess.

i don't mind a day of rain - especially when i can stay inside be cozy ... being out and about in the rain is a different story. i really disliked the rain when i lived in NYC - because walking around everywhere and taking the subway when everything is wet is no fun.

i do love when it rains in the summer and the kids can play in it - they LOVE that!
