ohhhh my!!!!!! LOVE these photos!!!!! mine was white (borrowed from my cousin's wife) I ll try get a photo of all, my mum looked divine in blue....
off white/cream for me; brides maids wore peach.. flowers were peach and cream... Guys wore Black... I would do exactly the same today as 23 years ago
I had the girls in sage green tea-length dresses. I like gerbera daisies so I carried a colorful bouquet and the girls carried white daisies. We were married outside and it was really pretty. http://s1295.photobucket.com/user/Amanda_Grzy/slideshow/
I had platinum (silver, really) dresses. Our flowers were all shades of pinks and purples. I don't have many pics on my computer, but took a few pics of the pics. Here's a close up of the flowers in the toss bouquet... And here's the girls' dresses/bouquets with Joel... And the cake... the first fondant one my baker had ever done. (When she delivered it she said it was the first and LAST she'd ever do... I highly doubt that was true bc that became a popular thing!! Ha ha!)
My wedding was pretty small, my sister the only bridesmaid. She wore a beautiful pale pink gown which matched the wedding gown I made for myself from antique white satin. Her wedding was aubergine and old rose, and my son and his bride went all out with tropical orange and azure agains off white. And congrats for your son Anne.
My bridesmaids wore the same dress style, but two different colors - gray and a smokey purple - every other gal. My flowers were all basic long stem calalillies. Not sure what I would choose if I had to do it all over again, really.
Our wedding was on an old paddle boat. So, I chose red, white, & blue to coordinate with the boat. Our ceremony was on the stern of the boat where there was an American flag, so it all went nicely. My two WWII vet grandpas both walked me down the aisle. I changed into a red dress (for good luck) during the reception.
We had burgundy dresses... My flowers were black magic roses and my bridesmaids had white roses. It was very pretty!
OH, this was great for me to see this morning, b/c I am mad at my DH right now, LOL. We were married a week before christmas and had burgundy dresses. I wore my mom's wedding dress. So pretty. I'll have to take pics and upload them later, it was a teeny bit before digital
Like Jen, I am so old that none of my wedding pics are digital. And it's too early in the morning for me feel like scanning. My bridesmaids wore black dresses and carried fire and ice roses. I had an all-white bouquet with calla lily and I-can't-remember-what-else. LOL It was an evening wedding with lots of candlelight.
I love bold colors and I went for Watermelon Pink. Here's a pic of my sisters and I right before the wedding: Anne, what a great and exciting time it must be for you and your family! I wish you all the best!
I'm LOVING all these photos of you girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I m of to find mine, which I know I took photos of the photos (we married in beginning of 94) but not sure where they are-
