Ok, so I need a wrist watch for when school starts and I am wondering what you ladies recommend. I usually just check out my phone, but I don't want to be having to pull my phone to check on time at school. Do you wear a wrist watch and do you love it?
I used to own so many they were my final accessory. Then I got older and my eyes got strange...I had to hold my wrist far far away to see the time...I need an ankle watch! bhhha
I still wear a watch. I wear my Grandma's watch every day. It's the self winding kind from wearing it and don't have to take it off in the shower so I never take it off.
I don't. I wore one when I was 12... had a bad experience (bad burned) and never wore one again. I think they have cool looking colorful ones nowadays! Let's see what you are looking at Dalis!
I wear a watch, but only for work, never anything else (I use it to count heart and respiratory rate and that's it otherwise I wouldn't even wear it for work). It is a cute watch though, and if I didn't prefer to wear bracelets I'd probably wear it for more than just work. Sorry I wasn't more help.
I haven't worn a wrist watch in ages. I'm always either at a computer, able to check my phone, or in a place with a wall clock. Or I don't need to care what time it is. lol I have a necklace with an upside-down clock on it, so you can check the time on it, in theory. I haven't replaced the battery in years, though.
I have a cheap-o watch from Target. It's pretty basic and exceptionally plain, and I have another cuff watch that's prettier, but I got it at a little boutique-ish store in an old town in Georgia a long time ago. I have several old, nicer ones that I've had for a long time, but I keep forgetting to take them in to have the batteries replaced. All that to say, I hardly ever wear either one of them.
I haven't worn one since I quit work almost 2 years ago. I do really like my Michael Kors watches though and maybe I'll wear them this winter when it isn't so darn hot out! (I like my watches big and chunky)
in a former life I was a wrist watch junkie, at one time I have 30+ watches in my jewelry drawer...but with the cost of batteries and having the time always at hand on my iphone and kindle fire, not to mention, on every computer I use during the day, I've let the obsession go. Now if only I could do the same with my obsession to eat!!!! when I was collecting watches, I always checked out Timex, long lasting and fashionable.
I've got 6 watches but haven't worn them in yrs. I have my mom's watch and am thinking of getting it cleaned and wearing that when I'm shooting weddings, b/c I'm always pulling my phone out to check the time and it would be a lot more convenient to just glance at a watch. It would be nice to have that reminder of my mom with me. Her watch is a silver bracelet band with a small watch face.
I wore one all the time in high school- couldn't go without it. Now it bugs me to have something on my wrist. I use my phone. It's either on my desk or in my pocket, even at school.
I wear a watch religiously--i put it on after my shower and take off when I wash my face at night. I have had the same watch for like 7 years, it is a Skagen that has a really small face on it. I don't consider myself to be super petite, but I have small wrists and so larger faces look weird on my wrist.
Add me to the list of those with a large collection of watches I no longer wear. I don't really use my phone for time that much, but I'm home a lot and we have clocks everywhere. I do have one very basic watch with a stretchy band that's easy to slip on and off. I wear it whenever I go anywhere, but I often slip it off and stick it in my pocket if it's bugging me.
I wear mine religiously also. First thing in the morning and last thing at night. It is a Dakota from the kiosk at the mall and is silver with a dark green face. You might like a digital watch with big numbers or else get one with large hands so the time is easy to see. I like being able to take a quick glance and see the time. Go for light weight if you're not used to wearing one.
