06/27 - Slow Scrap Instructions

It's only 45 minutes until the Slow Scrap starts. For those that will not be able to attend, I'll be posting instructions in here as we go along.

I'll have all of the instructions posted in here after the chat for sure, and you will have until Saturday, June 28th, at 11am EST to submit your pages.

You have plenty of time to scrap so come on into the chat and visit with us!

I am a huge fan of patterned papers so...
STEP 1: Pick a super busy background paper.

I'm feeling centered in the universe right now so...
Okay, I'm not really feeling centered with universe, but I did feel the need to put the photo in the center. LOL
STEP 2: Place a photo in the center of the page.

We don't want the photo to fall of the page so...
STEP 3: Attach the photo to the page. This can be done with stitches, staples, a stitched frame, any fastener will do.

Just for those that don't like busy backgrounds...
STEP 4: Place a solid paper of any size above the busy background paper, so that you can still see the busy paper underneath.

This week has had me scatter brained so...
STEP 5: Create a cluster/scatter around the photo.

I've been chatty today so...
STEP 6: Add some word art.

Rounding out the night with the mother of all instructions...
STEP 7: Add shadows, a date and journaling if you like. You can also add anything else that you feel is needed to complete your work of art.
