I forgot about toothpaste! But Crest is the WORST. Revolting, revolting stuff. I'd rather have dirty teeth. Aquafresh for me.

It's funny... I can't really think of anything that I really care that much about the brand. I'm always trying the generic brands of stuff just to see if it's similar and usually I don't care enough about the differences to pay extra for the brand name. :)

I used to only buy Hellman's mayonnaise and Heinz ketchup. Nothing else would do.

But we don't use mayo anymore and now I'm a fan of the organic stuff ... so it's usually Annie's brand ketchup or other similar. For peanut butter I buy any kind that has just peanuts and salt. No sugar. For toothpaste it is Tom's of Maine toothpaste. I can't stand the big name toothpastes ... they are too bubbly or something... it feels like my mouth is going through a car wash!

I love reading your answers and it reminded me how many different brands we changed for diapers. Bianca has an ultra sensitive skin and it was even worse when she was a baby. Huggies, Pampers they all gave her a bad rash and blisters. We ended up buying Luvs and we were finally happy.

Brand name diapers (don't care which of the Holy Pampers-Huggies-Luvs Trinity, just not store brand) & Diet Coke are really the only things I won't compromise on.

There are some things we have to have name brand of due to DH's gluten intolerance, e.g. Hormel pepperoni vs. store pepperoni, but I see that as different than what this question is asking. :)

You'll laugh at this... but mine is bubbles. Gotta have Gymboree brand bubbles for the kids! Way better than the cheap soapy kind!

Colgate for toothpaste, Farm Fresh for fresh milk, Dutch Lady for low-fat milk, Milo for chocolate drink (THE chocolate drink brand in Malaysia), Jacob's for cream crackers, Danisa for butter cookies. That's our grocery LOL.

You can get them at either a clothing store or a play & music location. The only reason I know is I used to work there years ago! They are so fun - little tiny things ones that will stick to your clothes and hair and aren't soapy at all.

Yes! I can't stand anything but Q-tips! Everything else has those wimpy sticks inbetween the cotton that bend really easily. They are useless! I don't care about brands on much of anything, but it definitely has to be Q-tips.

I used to not bend on hidden Valley ranch. But then I had litehouse homestyle ranch. I have a new favorite!

Here's a few that we don't buy any other knock off of......
    Kraft Mac n Cheese
    Heinz Ketchup
    Diet Coke
    Doritos
    Cheetos
    Crest toothpaste

But the biggest would be CRAYOLA....crayons, makers, colored pencils....they HAVE to be Crayola.
When I taught, I would always buy about 100 boxes of crayons for my classroom at the beginning of the year. I made sure every child had Crayola crayons!
