We had a nice long lazy summer and now things are getting hectic. We're moving in a week or so (if the mortgage company can get it together, ugh) and my oldest is cheering this year and that's been quite the time commitment! I'm really looking forward to October, lol!

Fun reading up on how you've all been doing, I feel so out of the loop too! I haven't done a single challenge this summer :( How is it that summer is busier than the school year? Sheesh. July was packed full of fun, but as soon as we returned from our week holiday in July the plague hit us. Pneumonia x 2 (maybe 3, little guy going to dr today) and a case of head lice and this mama is pretty done. I took a WEEK off work for this bout of pneumonia (I *never* go off sick) and I am still not 100%, it kicked my BUTT. I have one week of vacay left and we are going to Great Wolf Lodge with my family for one last hurrah before school starts. Looking forward to a fun and hopefully HEALTHY week off with my kiddos!

We had a busy summer, had a few weeks to relax and now things are picking up again. School starts tomorrow, baseball and soccer starts this week too! As much as I despise winter, I am looking forward to being home!!

I'm still here too! Just can't see where the time sneaked up on me and now we're in the 2nd week of school here. Because the buses won't allow Pre-K kids to ride until next week....I have actually been enjoying the company of my 4-yr-old granddaughter in the afternoons after school until her mama comes to pick her up. This child does not stop! She's on the go....constantly! But its been fun!

I've been super quiet lately and just really have no reason why either. Even DH wants to know whats up with 'the mouth of the south'! I really am liking less talk in my ear and just mellowing out some. And believe it or not....I miss my motor-mouth!!! LOL

This summer did go by way to fast for me. My girls have been in school since August 7. I am working on a project that will completely change my life in more ways than one. It is still in the planning phase so it is top secret. :-)
Today marks the 5th day that I have been at the Hospital with my Dad. He had another stroke last Thursday and so we are in for a lot of testing. He had his first stroke on July 2nd of the year. So please keep him in your prayers.
I hope to be back scrapping soon.

Sounds like I'm not the only one who wonders what happened to summer! Happens every year. I'm in the health/medical-craziness boat here too. Our summer has been consumed with many, many, many doctor and specialist appts, trying to get to the bottom of my two younger boys' chronic health problems. My middle one (he turned 3 in july, wow!) has been on an elemental formula-only diet since end of may, which has been a huge adjustment for all of us. My youngest has been on a strictly limited diet. I've been in the kitchen figuring out new things to cook a LOT! I finally feel like we have some answers and at least a path to follow, as difficult as it may be. Between all that and beginning homeschooling all three boys (they are 4 1/2, 3, and almost 2 now), I'm not sure my autumn will be any less hectic LOL!!
I've barely scrapped any digi pages in months, but my paper/hybrid PL album has really filled that creative void. Hopefully as we settle into a school routine I can work in some time for my digi love :)
Although I haven't been around much lately, you all are in my thoughts and prayers! Some of you have been through things I can't even imagine, and it's good for me to remember when I get overwhelmed that I'm not alone, and God only gives me what I can handle! (It's my mantra ;))

The last two months have just whizzed by at my place! Real life has been so busy with birthdays, Semi formals, Anniversaries, school fetes, kids social life and work that I have barely had time to scratch myself! I am looking forward to September with a passion as the kids will be on school holidays soon and I can relax!

Sounds like everyone over there has had a lovely and busy Summer!
