TGIF! What's on for the weekend? Hello, Friday! Even though it's a super busy Friday here with work, grocery shopping and volunteering at school, I am so ready for the weekend! Other than swimming tomorrow, we have nothing on the calendar...a welcome change from the last two weeks! I am hoping for some lazy time to read in my PJs. And dinner out at my favorite sushi place. If those two things happen, I will call it a good weekend. High aspirations. What do you have planned for the weekend? I hope it's a good one!
Errands today...we have to get some food in this house...pretty sure if I try to feed my family beans one more time they might rebel, and that's about all I have left. Tomorrow I'm going to Heather's for her monthly get together. I feel so lucky to live close enough to attend. Sunday, no real plans...I'm taking my 2012 PL album to Heather's so hopefully I'll be able to work on that some more on Sunday. I will finish it before 2013 is over..lol.
Well.... I NEED to catch up on CT pages so the weather better cooperate BC its cold in my house even with heat on. My 2Peas order is set to be here tommorrow or Monday so I plan to pet alot of stuff <3 and do a few inserts for my PL. I cant do much more till I place my Amazon order Weds for my ink
Fairly busy...with work and GS cookie related hullabaloo. I have errands today and Bugga has a birthday party tomorrow and apart from that, it's nose to the grindstone and volunteer work. Hoping to have some good lazy family time to recharge at some point. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
We're pretty busy here... but not crazy busy which is good. My son is at School of Rock and this weekend is show weekend for him... he's in AC/DC. I absolutely cannot wait to see the show! He won't sing for us here at home, so it's always a treat to see him belt things out up on stage. My daughter has a dance performance on Sunday afternoon... looking forward to that as well! Their performance troupe has been asked to perform at a nursing home for the residents.
We are having a houseful tonight! So right now, my girls and I are chopping cabbage, grating carrots and getting ready to make 100s of egg rolls!! yes!! The weekend is pretty relaxed yeah, and good weather on the forecast! bigger yeah! hoping to get some out door exercise!!
We are headed out of town for my BIL's 30th birthday party tonight. It's going to get weird! We'll head home tomorrow at some point, might partake in a little Winter Games fun first. Saturday night, nothing. Maybe a movie. Then Sunday is my dear sweet peanut Ella's 8th birthday. She requested bowling and Red Lobster. Quite the lady. So, my parents are coming in and my sister will be there as well, as long as the stupid ice that's forecasted doesn't create problems.
I hope scrapping and rest!!! We have all had colds and need to take it easy!! We are not doing anything tonight and tomorrow I am heading to Heather's house for a scrap night. DH has a big project on Sunday so he will actually be working from home Sunday-Tuesday so I have to entertain the boys by myself. I think we will be watching lots of TV, reading books and I am hoping to get some scrapping in there too!!!
DH is going to be out of town for the weekend so my plan is one of two things - do some organizing of closets, kitchen cabinets etc., or aside from picking up groceries and going for a run I'll do very little
We have a basketball banquet tomorrow night for Nate. I have a Little League meeting on Sunday night. Other than that it's the regular stuff. I need a break from the craziness of the last few weeks. I'm pretty much healed from my spill on the ice earlier this month though! Moving my PT to once a week and I can walk normally now.
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! Plans are up in the air, but you know I'll get something photo-worthy done to celebrate!
Once again, Nothing to report. I train people on Saturday mornings, so there's that. Saturday night is the running club banquet. Social obligation that I'm not necessarily looking forward to, but will probably end up enjoying in spite of myself. Sunday I'm going to do a long-ish run (just 9 miles). Then maybe some rage purging in the house. That's all.
Tomorrow is once a year for us, host a party for the English speakers of the Italian speaking canton of Switzerland, who happen to be our friends and enjoy haggis, a Scottish meal to celebrate Rabbie Burns' night. We do that as both of us have fond memories of Scotland where we had honeymoon exactly 13 years ago... and Sunday I guess we will be mainly nursing a headache and clearing up! LOL!.. I am looking forward... to Monday, when I can be quiet and alone and on TLP and catchup with the challenges of the week-end. So that is what's keeping me anchored and happy at the moment.
A relaxing night tonight Football training for the little man tomorrow morning, which I'm hoping to hobble along to as its just a 5 minute walk from our house, might take me a whole lot longer on crutches LOL but I haven't left the house all week and I'm going crazy!!! Then back home for more sitting around, so movies/board games with the little one and maybe a movie night with hubby Sunday will be much the same without the football training and maybe with an afternoon nap?
*sigh* It's the last full day of holidays today and then we are packing up and heading back to the real world tomorrow! Its probably for the best though as the weather has turned pretty nasty with loads of rain predicted and huge seas as an ex-cyclone heads down the coast towards us .... and yet I still love looking out at the churning angry ocean from my nice comfy unit lol
Well, I started the afternoon by picking the boys from school and I came home and read for about an hour and then took a nap. Great start to the weekend if you ask me. Tomorrow I get to sleep in and then catch up on laundry and do tomorrow's challenge. In the evening a bunch of couples are going cross country skiing for a date night and then out for burgers and beers afterwards. Two of our friends that moved to Chicago are coming to town for it too, so I'm really looking forward to that. Sunday, we have church and sunday school and then nothing all afternoon. I'm going to be lazy all day!
I am hoping to have a semi-exciting day tomorrow, cause I'm taking notes and pictures of it for the challenge...if not it will be, here Anne sits at the puter, now she is drinking coffee, look she is sitting again, and then to the potty....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh
We're staying at home this weekend. I'm very sick, caught the flu, so my surgery which was supposed to be on Tuesday is bumped a week later. Hopefully I will get better in time, because it's not the kind of thing that should be delayed. My youngest took something that didn't belong to him from his teacher's desk, so as a consequence, he isn't allowed to go out anywhere this weekend (except church). He's really regretting that wrong choice right now. I'm hoping that will be that, and he doesn't do something like that again. He's missing soccer practice, soccer game, play date, going shopping for Lego, and going skating with his favourite cousin. It's hard watching this, but got to make him understand that stealing is not acceptable.
