Last week I told you I started this with gabbi, well I'm pleased to report that the job is complete and I'm so proud of her still can't believe it only took a week,
How old is he? My eldest took forever loads of accidents I did him at 18 months looking back far to young but didn't want 2 in nappies my 2nd was easier and he was over 2 the timing was better he could understand but gabbi I'm so amazed I started a couple of days before she was 2 and had cracked it within days but she has been letting me know that she was ready even tho she can't talk well,I'd say wait till he is ready that's what ice found the easiest just got to work on being out the house longer now
Bless her, I started my little girls 7 wks agao, and from then, we have had no nappies either, and been dry day and night ever since we started, so she was so ready for it, and now 3 wks ago, she wont even use potty, has to be big girl toilet too, so proud of both our little ones, they do master os much so quickly when they are little
aww donna thats great, you likes the big toilet as well as the potty,do you think girls are quicker than boys how old is your little one
We were almost done when our toilet came back up one time and scared the heck out of her... it took us months to get her back to where we were.
Thats great, I dont remember how long it took for my two when they were little, but I was so happy when they caught on
That's awesome, Karen! I started PTing my daughter 1.5 weeks ago. She'll be 3.5 next month (!!) and refused to PT up until this point. We had to have a Come to Jesus moment (I called It Apottycalypse 2013) where we did nothing for a whole weekend but pottytrain. We are working on our third day of being accident free!
YAY!!! Go Gabbi!! Potty training both of my kids was pretty easy and thankfully they were both ready and willing at a pretty young age (both within a couple months of turning 2). I cried tears of joy when I threw out those last diapers and pull ups.
My experaince with potty training my 2 children is completely different, my son 4 before he got out of nappies and that was with the help with his special needs school, you see his is autistic and non verble, and the amount of times I tried to do it he just would'nt, and my little girl is 3 I too tried a few times but she just was not ready, but 7 wks agao, she just started sating I want a p** and w** and so I tried again, and this time it worked, not nappies since
That was quick. I know you are glad Karen! I know Aida started PTing when she was around 2. At the daycare, she was seeing the other kids going and her teacher told me how she started to hold hers until it was potty time. We did pull ups for a short time and she was ready to go on her own before 3. We were just glad to stop spending money on all those pull ups...it was like I got a raise at work...lol!
