i did a page yesterday saved it in psd format for me to finish today but when i try to open it its just a black box,anyone know if its something to do with my photo shop,its happened about 3 times now and always with a template from 1 specific designer,any ideas? when i click on the file to open you can see the page but it opens as a black box
that's strange that it happens only with templates and only from 1 designer. that makes me think it's something with that designer's formatting rather than your program being faulty. i don't know though. i've never heard of that before.
Yeah that is strange. I've never had it happen to me, but like Rebecca, it seems like it has to do with that specific designer's products since its only happened with them. Very weird!
Wonder if saving it in TIFF file rather than PSD would help? Sounds like it probably is just something in how that designer formats if it is not happening with anyone else. I have never had that happen.
hmmm it is strange its not all her templates but has happened to about 4 now and its so frustrating cause i have to start the page again,ill try the tiff way
I saw someone having that problem in another forum. I don't know if it was a particular template or what her solution was though. She thought one of her kids had messed with the computer. Sorry. I guess this is not very helpful at all. LOL. I just wanted you to know that someone else had that issue though. I'll see if I can find out from her what she did about it.
ok thanks,its weird that its only the one designer and i dont want to mention who incase she thinks its hers but im sure its me lol,im having a major clean out on here so that may or maynot help
Karen, I am the person that Kimberlee was talking about. Please PM me, we can converse as to the template designer in private. I thought it was because of my sudden power outage when the transformer blew and I was without power for a few hours.
I buy templates from a designer, when I see the preview in my explorer window it looks like a black box but then it opens fine, never happen the other way around.
