My grandparents are visiting today through Thursday!!! They should get here around lunchtime. They live in Iowa (and we're in Texas) so I rarely see them. I'm SOOOOO excited!!! I know my boys will enjoy being thoroughly spoiled, too ;) - we plan on going to the park tomorrow, and the SA Children's Museum Wednesday. I'm sure you'll see details of their visit popping up in my gallery in a few days LOL!

It's going to be a rough week, work-related. Just some hard choices to make. Other than that, I'm very much looking forward to an early Friday, and a long weekend!!

My son turns 13 on Thursday so I'm gearing up for a weekend at the Lake with some of his buddies and then with the in-laws. Looking forward to this weekend!

This is my son's last week of high school. One final today, two finals tomorrow, one final Wednesday, then no finals on Thursday. They do this big thing where they have an assembly for the seniors and then they leave early on their last day. They call it Senior Walkout. The senior parents shoot confetti cannons and give them silly string to shoot at each other, the drum line plays, all the juniors stand on the balcony walkway and cheer. Then, my baby will no longer be in high school...

Just found out baccalaureate is on Wednesday, so added that to the calendar. This whole "he's going to graduate" thing is bound to hit me pretty soon. I think he'll get his cap and gown today.

As for me, same old, same old. Work, scrap, sleep, repeat. Toss in a few school things this week and that's it. AM looking forward to a long weekend.

Well, let's see... we have a French magician/actor asleep in our guest room right now after a lecture yesterday. He's off to his next stop this afternoon. Sometime today we have to stop by our financial planner's office to sign paperwork, and I need to get caught up on laundry. Today's my birthday, which I don't really make a big deal about, but the kids will want to do something to celebrate. DS has his spring band concert tonight. Tomorrow I have my library shift. Wednesday and Thursday DH's mom and her sister and her sister's boyfriend will be here visiting. Thursday DD's class has a big "author luncheon" where the parents come and the kids get to show off the autobiography books they've been making. I desperately need a haircut, so I'm hoping to do that this week. And among all that I've got some agonizing decisions to make after my CT call, and I then need to squeeze in some designing somewhere. Hmmm... what I really want right now is a nap, but I don't think I have time! LOL :giggle

Work, scrap, sleep, read Beyond Midnight (vampire porn), think about our upcoming trip to Cancun in less than a month, work some more. Oh and I am going to see the podiatrist tomorrow due to the pain under my big toe which has prevented me from running these past 2 weeks.

Last full week of school for Bugga so it's a full kind of week. Especially because DG is in the field all week. In between the busy I hope to squeeze in designing, writing, blogging, and general catching up after the sick sidelined me. Actually looking forward to it since I always feel so out of the loop when I'm not feeling well. Woot!

Wow! So many of your getting out of school early! We go until June 6th this year!

This week for me... WW and grocery getting for me tonight and then the fun designer spotlight chat for Kaye. baseball games Tuesday and Thursday. Choir practice and Wednesday. Saturday I'm taking my Mom shopping and then Sunday a fun BBQ for Memorial day. Kinda busy, but all fun stuff, so not too bad. I'm hoping to fit in a trip to the beach if the weather stays nice!

Today is a holiday so everyone is having a lazy day at home *we are way overdue*
This week Mystaya has a doctor's appointment and x-ray and we start our home renovations (I'm looking forward to it!)
Apart from that we are having a pretty quiet week.

My kids are already on summer break. And I kinda forgot to plan activities or come up with any ideas to keep them entertained. At this point, I'm just letting them run around until they decide they're bored and I have to entertain them.

Well, let's see. My son's Elementary School is having their open house on Thursday. There's that drama that happened at my daughter's school about their principal being let go--I'm sure there's going to be a pot luck involving that somewhere/time for the parents to talk about what to do.

I'm starting to hate Mondays. My son started crying this morning, all upset because *on Friday* he had a run-in with three girls from his school who yelled something so horrible at him ("inappropriate" was his word: he won't tell anyone what they said, and they're not talking) that he didn't want to go to school. And after we talked to the principal AND his teacher, he STILL wanted to come home instead of going to class, even after the three girls came in and apologized to him. *sighs*

Otherwise, I have to motivate myself to get off my butt and some Jillian Michaels DVDs to get in shape. Don't know if I can handle it every day--I get too tired out and run down--but every other day seems to work fine, too. That, and working my kettlebells. I have a new DVD to try out for those.

Otherwise, it's all kids and cleaning house and laundry.
