...I am just curious how you communicate with people. Do you work outside the home? do you see your family and close friends face to face on a regular basis?

I would not consider myself a phone person, but seeing the number of minutes I am on the phone every month kind of took me by surprise. But, it is the primary way that I communicate with my mom, my sister, and most of my good friends. I am not a very good emailer or facebooker, so if I didn't talk on the phone to them, I would probably not be communicating. If I lived in the same town as my family, I probably would have fewer minutes on the phone by far because we would be hanging out together, but since I don't, this is just the way we communicate. Also, I work from home, my boys are in school most of the day, and my husband has been in med school/working long hours/away on rotations....so clearly, I need more adult conversation than I am getting in my regular day to day life. :)

Email, text, or IM. Even at work I often don't need to call anyone, except to get on conference calls.

I mostly keep up with my friends and family via text, email, facebook. I have a few friends who I do have long conversations with on the phone once in awhile. Most of my friends are like me - we're not offended if we don't talk very often. I have one very good friend - I consider her one of my bffs - and we take pride in the fact that even though we've been friends for years now, we've never spoken on the phone!

I text my boys. I usually text friends too. I call my dad maybe once a week, but he's not a talker and just wants to tell you how he's doing, how my mom is doing, etc...and then he's off. I email my aunt or call maybe once a month. I text my sis in laws...sometimes I call my brother because he doesn't text.

My dh is having to learn to text too. I don't like to talk on the phone.

I work with customers though, so I'm talking (not always on the phone) every day...all day. I get tired of people!!

I actually use the phone to talk to my mom and sis. Those are the only ones that I don't hate using the phone to talk to. Other than that I text or FB :)

    Yep, this ^^^

I do speak to my mother and sister on the phone, but ignore most other calls. I figure if it's important they'll leave a voicemail, and then I'll decide if I'm gonna call back or get Cam to do it lol

I have to talk to my grandma on the phone. There are times I sooooo wish I could just text her. But I'm also one who doesn't want to spend my whole day texting, so sometimes it is much easier to talk to my mom on the phone instead of incessant texting. I have a good friend I catch up with every couple of months or so. We'll spend an hour to two on the phone, but we have such a good time talking, it flies by.

I actually did a layout about this recently. lol (I'd link you up but I didn't use TLP products so it's in a different gallery.) I'm not sure why, but I hate talking on the phone. I'm an emailer all the way. Even if someone leaves me a phone message I'll end up emailing them back instead of calling.

I hate talking on the phone! I email text or FB. I talk on the phone half the day at work so I want nothing to do with it when I'm off!

I text or email. I cringe when the phone rings because I'm always busy with something. LOL...
