Kennedy, the little munchkin love of my life, really loves the Fresh Beat Band show on Nick Jr. Since he could walk, he's been movin' and groovin' to the music and he just totally loves it. They have been on tour, doing the Fresh Beat Band Live show, for a couple of months and at first they weren't coming anywhere near the PNW. We were bummed because we really wanted to take him. Last night, I just happened to check the website and found that they are finally coming to Washington. I had to get tickets. And I had to get the VIP package where you can go backstage and do a meet/greet, etc. My DH about crapped his pants because for 3 tickets it ended up being $365 (it seriously made me want to throw up a little). But I was lucky to get them during the "presale" that started yesterday because in every other location they have been selling out like crazy. We will be in the 3rd row for the concert!!! Kennedy will get to see them up close and in person and I think they even learn a little dance when they are backstage or something. He will be beyond excited. So my DD and I are going to take him. It isn't until November 10th, but I was totally thrilled to secure our spots. I totally had second thoughts, but then my DD was so excited last night, she could hardly go to sleep. That alone almost makes it worthwhile.
LUCKY!!! As a family of 7, we so cannot afford to go. Although my kids would absolutely love to. We were gifted some tickets to see the Wiggles a couple of years ago. BEST. DAY. EVER. for my then 6 year old daughter. We had to remind her to breathe when they came out on stage! LOL Make sure you take a picture of Kennedy's reaction when they first come out on stage (unless backstage is before). I have that picture of my daughter seeing the Wiggles - absolutely priceless it's my favorite picture of pure joy, even though she has her hands over her mouth you can see it in her eyes.
How fun! So awesome that your DD is that excited too!! It makes me feel old that my kids are old enough now that I've never even heard of this show.
Awe, that is so sweet! You guys will have so much fun! We expect amazing photos and an awesome scrapbook page out of this event, come November! I'm excited for you guys!
Sounds like it'll be a ton of fun! I'd love to take my grandbabies to a show but there are a total of 6 that are mine plus 2 that are my son's stepkids so that would mean taking 8 out. No Freakin' Way! LOL
so, so fun!! we went to their concert a few weeks ago in boston and it was a blast!! you'll love it - especially being so close and having the backstage passes!!

As soon as I heard they were coming to our town (and I mean AS SOON! this was months ago...), I went online to buy tickets. I wanted the VIP package, as well. Not only were those sold out already, but the only seats available were so far away that it wouldn't even have been worth going My DD LOVES the FFB. She is starting to memorize all the words and has started singing them to herself around the house. So cute!
