Do you still see any of your friends from school regurlarly?

I lost touch with my bff for about 6 years, but thanks to facebook we now try to see each other at least once or twice a year. We had a cough20cough year school reunion two years ago and now try to catch up with a few other friends for a girls week every now and then.

yes! in fact, a few of my dear friends are hanging out at TLP so we "see" each other a little more often~ we try and do a couple of lunches during the year. . . a summer picnic and one around the holidays if possible. it's great to stay connected and Fb has definitely made that more possible with other friends as well!

I am not good friends with anyone that I went to school with anymore. We all just seemed to take different paths in life. I connect with a few on FB, but my dearest friends now are not people I went to school with.

A lot of my old school friends still live around town or work in the school system with my brother and sister, so I see a lot of them. Facebook has helped me connect with a lot of them as well. Some of my closest friends now are people I went to school with but didn't really hang out with, but through mutal friends and FB, we're cool now! LOL!

Not really, no. I still have two good GFs that I knew when I was in high school, but neither of them actually attended my high school. My college clique and I had a falling out when I married my first husband, and though I tried to make amends a few years ago when he and I split up, they were more interested in continuing to punish and judge me rather than move on.

I think that I would have done much better and made better friends if I had attended a different university than the one I did. I will be sure to encourage DD to attend a college where I know she will excel and grow vs. one that is close to home and/or the most inexpensive.

My very best friend in the world I met as a junior in college in 1985. We only live 2 1/2 miles apart and chat all the time. I have another college friend that lives across town that I see only rarely but she is back in nursing school. Go HER!! I can't imagine having to study and take tests again.

I'm glad for fb for keeping in touch with a lot of them. I've got my 20 yr reunion this year and so we've got a special group set up for it and tons of us have been talking in there on a regular basis and it's been so fun!

But for those friends from High School, I rarely see them in real life. We see a few when they come in town to visit, but that's pretty much it.

My friend who lives in NY I have known since elementary and we still talk online all the time. She has family here so she visits several times a year. I would say that is my closest girl friend that I still keep in touch with.

My best guy friend from high school is now my hubby's best friend so I get to see him all the time. :)

I still hang out with a couple of people that I graduated with and I actually work with a couple that are pretty good friends now too. I didn't really hang out with them much in high school though, so I don't know if that counts. I did reconnect a little bit with my best friend from high school this year through our Christmas card, so that was fun. There were a couple people that I really wanted to see at my 15 year reunion and then none of them came so I got stuck talking to the snobs that I didn't like then and still don't like now. :)

Yep! And one of them is my hairdresser! I see a few of them ever so often since they're teachers and I work for the schools. Funny how life works out after all these years.

I love FB to stay in touch, and a select few I see a couple times a year. I see more of my college friends than my HS friends and that's probably a good thing LOL. Different clubs I was in try to get a big thing together every couple years or so...choirs and Thespian Society and that kind of stuff.

It is funny. My BFF isn't even on facebook. LOL. She lives about an hour away, and we see each other occasionally. She just came by last week, and it was great to see her. We've been friends since 4th grade.

A couple of weeks ago at Target, I ran into a girl I was good friends with until our first year in high school. She took my number and wants to get together one of these days. She was laughing because she is one of the last from our graduating class to have her first baby. He's just 4 months younger than my grandbaby, so she wants to have a play date. LOL.

I've found that FB has kept me in touch with people I wasn't really that close with in school. One of the girls who was one of the "snobby" ones has actually been complimenting me when I post my scrapbook layouts online, and apparently I started a chain reaction where a whole group of them are now doing a gratitude practice. Who knew? It is so strange how things change after school.
