Hi, Well time has come to write an intro. Forum laws say that if you post 2 postings already it's time to I introduce yourself. My name is Christine, married, husband and I are expats and moved like modern day gypsies around Europe and the US quite a bit. We are originally from the Netherlands. We moved from France to the Pacific Northwest in 2005 and have been here longer than usual. The reason for that is that I have a progressive neurological disease(inflammation of the spinal cord and brainstem), which on bad days has me bed bound and not even able to brush my own teeth(insert the ipad here which has been a Godsend!)and on good days I'm up and use Wheelie the wheelchair. I refuse to let my illness define me who I am and find joy in everyday things and expressing my emotions through art. In my previous healthy life I was a typo/graphical designer . We share our life with 2 Border Collies and 3 evil catzzzzz. Our daughter and brand new beautiful grandson live in the Netherlands and my biggest wish and dream is to be able to fly out and finally hold that little boy! He is growing up so fast it's too bad I can't be there and enjoy this baby grandson! Well that's me, I apologise in advanve for future postings where grammar and punctuation will not be totally correct. English is not my native, although i do think and dream in English. I have been a journaler and discovered digital scrapbooking recently. For me it is a wonderful way of expressing myself through art. Looking forward getting to know you all
