Hello! I'm celebrating getting nearly caught up with my PL pages by coming out of hiding here on the board. I've been enjoying all your pages for weeks. I'm amazed by your creativity, and by your ability to make space in your life for such an awesome project. I'm Jenn, I'm in Northern California, I'm a teen librarian, and I have two little boys (almost 1 and almost 3). I'm a complete newbie to scrapbooking, though I've been taking pictures and journalling forever. I'm mostly doing things digitally and printing, 'cause Photoshop has been my friend for awhile and I can just see my husband groaning if I started to bring home paper scrapbooking supplies. I think I've enjoyed peeking into everyone's life just as much I've enjoyed checking out the PL pages. It's nice to know other folks have been home with sick kids, eaten amazing meals, been working on their exercise routines, and generally celebrating the day to day. I'm going to attempt to share some pictures now. Nice to "meet" everyone, Jenn
Welcome Jenn - I feel the same way, it so inspiring to me to see everyone here celebrating everyday life. Look forward to seeing your pages too!
Welcome Jenn!!! So glad you came out of lurking... I totally agree that the project life layouts here are so inspiring... I have to admit that when I initially heard about Project Life, I thought it was going to be boring, but the girls here have totally proven me wrong and it's so fun looking at the pages... So excited to see you joining in the fun!!!
Welcome to the Pad, Jenn! So glad that you took the step to de-lurk - and we love to encourage new scrappers. Sounds like you've been doing your own version of PL with the photos and journaling, so continuing into Digi Scrapping won't be much of a stretch. Looking forward to seeing your pages!
Welcome to the pad Jenn! I love your username... clever! I too am so inspired by the un-ending talent here! PL is just so cool!
Hi Jenn...so cool to have a teen librarian around...I love love love YA books and was working toward my MLS so that I could be a YA librarian before life threw me a curve ball. Now I'm a SAHM/homeschool mom living in the Chicago area. Have you checked out the reading pad forum here? I know we've read a couple YA books in the past as our monthly selection and I know there is at least one YA book in the March poll.
