So, I live in Michigan. It's January and normally we are buried under 2 feet of snow by now. It is currently 47°F outside right and that's just weird! My kids broke out their bikes yesterday and were riding around the neighborhood. They have NEVER done that in January. How about you, where do you live and what's the temp?
It's 50 and rain coming in for the next two days. We are around normal today but last week we were close to 80 on a couple of days. Crazy weather, I tell ya! And I saw the news talking about all the ski resorts not receiving enough snow and how the temps may affect all of us later on. Really?!?!?!?! Last July, it was 112 on our camping trip. I just don't think we can handle those temps again this summer.
I hear yah Karen... I'm a Wisconsin gal and the weather is a dup of yours. No snow and unseasonably warm. Way weird, but kind of liking it. My philosphy is, that if it's gonna be bbbbbtrrrrr cold, then lets have snow. But.... since it's warm out... Tah heck with the snow! LOL!
I'm in southwestern Ontario, close to the MI border and we're pretty close to yours as well, Karen! It feels so much like spring I can't believe we haven't gone through winter yet.
It's about 36 degrees here in Jersey right now (7 pm). It's supposed to be in the mid 60s tomorrow, which is pretty great I think for January! Last year, we were buried under snow all month, so I'm fine with this weather!
our high today was 49 degrees and it rained all day. however, the end of last week and our weekend was gorgeous...highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. i've lived in texas all my life and relish ANY break we get from the string of 100+ degree days will have starting somewhere around june. blah.
Michigan girl here too and I am LOVING this. To not have to worry about driving around in snow is AWESOME!!!
I'm guessing it was in the low 70's today...sunny, gorgeous! Early last week it was in the high 80's. It was fabulous because it got so nice and warm, but was so cold at night that the house stayed nice and cool. I love January!
Way above normal here too. Nothing even remotely resembling a snowflake so far this winter. We haven't even busted out mittens and scarves yet. Not complaining!
Mid 70s here - and I AM complaining. It's winter ... I at least want to be able to wear long sleeves without sweating!!
It's so warm here, too. I took a photo of the temp on my dirty car dashboard a couple days ago - 52 degrees! So unheard of around these parts!
