Very busy here! Today I have lots of laundry and cleaning to do. Tomorrow we have a play date in the morning and then a family day event with my husband's unit in the afternoon. Wednesday is another play date plus going out to grab a few things for Thanksgiving that I needed to wait until the last minute to get. Late Wednesday night my husband will be home to spend the weekend with us - yay! Thursday is Thanksgiving festivities (I'm not sure what I'm more excited about - the food or the parade.). Friday we need to take some stuff off our walls, patch holes, put some stuff aside to pack, etc. Saturday we're driving down to Sears (about 90 minutes away) to pick up the roof carrier for our van so we have extra room for packing. I'm also looking to hit up Target while we're there to get some cheap dollar spot entertainment for the kids to have in the car when we move, and maybe some stocking stuffer too. Whew, I'm kind of tired just thinking about it. But excited! I love the busyness of this time of year
We are finally putting up our Christmas Tree this weekend, my kids are sooooo excited. This week is a little busy for us as well, we have our reg. work. Physio for Mysty, sleepovers for both kids on Friday, Shopping for winter clothes.
My mom is coming tomorrow! She'll be here 2 weeks! So tonight I have to finish up some things for my December Daily album, and whip up a welcome card for her if I have enough time. I'll be working through Wednesday, and then it's the long Thanksgiving weekend. We'll put up the tree during the weekend (if we survive BF! ).
I'm trying to get a bunch of homework done before Thanksgiving. Luckily the kids don't have dance this week so that frees up a whole evening. We will be heading to my Aunt's house Thursday. I'm super excited! It's the first time in about 6-7 years we aren't staying home.
Same here... laundry and cleaning!! Oh, and I'm also trying to get my DD album ready, and I went to replace the toner in my printer last night, and I bought the wrong one! Gah... hate it when I do stuff like that. So I spent the first part of my morning at Office Depot making exchanges. I'm also going to try to get our Christmas card ordered today so I have them after Thanksgiving. We want to get them sent out early because we have a new address and want people to have it. I love getting Christmas cards!
I am SO glad to be off work this week! Woohoo! I am headed to Legoland today to see the snow they have (not real obviously but my son is excited all the same). I am planning on catching up on some scrapping this week too.
My dd and her hubby are on their way here! I can't wait to see my grandson!! (And them, too. hehe.) I haven't seen him since the first of September when he was born. I need to plan our meals for the week and run to the store. Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
ugh I am sick and my two daughters are both sick. Hopefully I can finish up the last two challenges this week.
Let's see.. I've already washed the floors and cleaned a bit and had a run... I work 2 shifts this week and have DH's xmas party on Saturday. In a week from now I get my wisdom teeth out....
I didn't get nearly as much done this weekend as I'd hopes so I still have cleaning and a little laundry to do. Then I need to go grocery shopping. I'm hosting two thanksgivings and guest for the whole long weekend. That stuff HAS to get done but what I really would rather be doing is making base pages for DYD. Seriously can't stop thinking about it! Then of course I'll join the crazies for black Friday shopping and we'll top off the weekend by going out to cut down our Christmas tree and will get that up and decorated.
Im bummed because In going to be working crazy hours the next few weeks - two nights and three days. I was asked to help out, but I hope the new bosses don't keep me on this schedule too long! Good news is I'm off for Thanksgving for the first time in years! And the Muppet movie comes out this week! I can't wait to see it!
We're so busy too this week! Michael has class Wednesday night, then early Thursday morning we're going down to my mom's (about a 6 hour drive blech). so between now and then, I have to pack and somehow get to see Breaking Dawn! lol
I had a big list of things to do today, but haven't gotten to any of them yet. LOL. DD and I went to the LSS and got her a couple of things for her smash journal (leftover birthday trip) and then went to lunch together with the little man. I need to finish my orientation for school, go to the store, clean the entire house (yeah, right), start my canvas for the living room art, hang the rest of the pictures (just painted the walls), start baking for Thanksgiving, clean up my hard drive, and fifty million other little projects. And... I'd like to find some time to scrap. Hmmm...
busy week here, the movers will be here in a week and I have so much sorting to do because we are taking some stuff with us and other stuff going into storage so I have to go through everything and physically separate it all beforte they come or they will just take everything! todays to do: finish DD or at least get photos uploaded of what I have done, laundry, sort and separate all kitchen, wrap Christmas presents, and cook dinner for some friends coming over tonight...yet I am here procrastinating.
I think I'm coming down with something. I have a sore throat and I'm hoping I'm not sick on Thanksgiving Day! We have one more full and busy day tomorrow and then it's break time here. I worked at the school library today and it was crazy. So many kids coming in to grab books before the break - it was so nuts. I'm looking forward to the holiday and putting up the Christmas tree and getting into the Christmas spirit!
