When do you put up your tree?

Usually the first weekend in December.
I'm scared to put ours up this year, though. I'm afraid the cats and puppy are going to destroy it.

 

Between Thanksgiving and December 5th.

Usually at the beginning of December, but I'm hoping to get it up during Thanksgiving weekend this year. My mom will be here to help me so it will be fun!! I cannot wait!

 

We are lazy and don't like going down to the basement so the tree usually doesn't go up until mid-December. I keep trying to talk my mom (who I live with) into putting up just a few decorations, but she won't hear of it!

 

Growing up the tree always went up Dec. 1st...in my husbands family the tree never went up until the week before Christmas...we usually do a bit of a compromise and put it up in the second week of Dec. or so.

 

This year my tree won't go up It's just too much... we're going to be in the BVI's and USVI's for 10 days during the holidays so it just wouldn't make sense to put everything up. I will miss it though!!

Usually I love to put mine up the weekend right after Thanksgiving.

 

Usually around the week before Christmas. My sons birthday is on the 17th of Dec. and I like to keep his bday separate from Christmas.

 

Uugggh I really hate the thought of taking out all the Christmas stuff !! The kids nag me to put it up from about now onwards, but I try to hold out until the weekend after DD's birthday (7th Dec), but we usually end up doing it the first weekend of Dec (or last weekend of Nov depending how the days fall).

Ours usually goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year, we are going to be out of town through that Saturday, so I am thinking probably the next week sometime depending on Micah's schedule.

in norway people usually put the tree up dec. 22-23th (yeah we are oh so special here as well! )

But as we are moving overseas on the 17th, we won't be putting ours up this year.

we put ours up the weekend after thanksgiving .. although this year we are going out of town and won't be getting home until the monday afterwards, so i may bring it up from the basement this weekend and just decorate when we get back

 

We usually do ours Thanksgiving weekend. This year, however, we are helping my MIL and my mom put up their trees and decorations, so I'm hoping that DH won't be too tired by Sunday afternoon to put up our tree. We don't really have many decorations besides the tree and its ornaments, so it shouldn't take all that long once we return home.

I love to have the tree and decorations up for as long as possible!

 

We usually do it the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving. But this year - no tree We're moving across the country in mid-December.

 

I take mine down on boxing day so I try to set up the tree early so the kids can enjoy it!!
We will be putting it up in the next week or two, can't wait!!
