Me too! Do not like the fb changes at all. I don't know if there's a problem with my browser or the fb changes but every time i open fb, my browser crashes within half an hour opening the fb site.
I'm pretty committed to not liking the new changes. They listed profile pic changes in my top stories. That makes me want to kick them in the face. And I like my newsfeed in time order. That way I don't miss anything that *I* deem important. I don't so much care about missing what FB thinks is important.
The only thing I like is the bigger view of pictures...seriously that is the only thing I like.... I haven't tried it but I read that you can change it to the UK English and it's the old FB...but I am sure they will be updating that version soon too so, even if it does work it's probably won't last.
I hate it! FB just messed up big time with the changes. I like the new stuff on top. Its driving me crazy.
I hate it, but I've been told numerous times today that I'm being stupid by complaining about it and blahblahblah. SO I've done nothing BUT complain all day
I just don't like that they are constantly making changes. It makes me want to scream because I can't keep up. I may have to boycott for a bit. Not that FB will care! I do like Google+ but there aren't enough people on there for it to really be the same thing yet.
ditto LOL cause its free we HAVE to like the changes. I guess ill be stupid then cause i miss seeing everything in order.
Not sure if anyone saw my status, but a friend posted this and I copied it, I thought it was funny. With sincere apologies to Dr. Seuss: I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like Facebook spam. I do not like the new Facebook change, I do not like my friends rearranged. I do not like them in a row, down below or coming up and appearing slow. I do not like them by family, friend, city or state. I do not like the page to hesitate. I do not like the Facebook change, I do not like my friends rearranged! I do not like this new Facebook crap. Kill it, smash it, make it scrap. I do not like change much at all, which is probably why I am still using PSE. But I don't mind the new fb that much. I am sure I will get used to it, eventually.
I'm with you. Not a big fan. Granted, I've had this "new" FB for about a month now. I was an unwilling "test user" so I've had a bit more time to get used to it. I'm just grateful the lists are back. I've gotten to a place where I have good control over my content and that makes me happy because I'm not a fan of FB choosing it for me. I posted about how I'm making FB behave for me on my blog. I actually don't mind the changes I've always used the list function anyway so it doesn't make that much of a difference to me. And I love the new big pictures!
So I really liked the privacy I had on facebook. I like being able to choose who sees what I write. Today I chose to get all updates from a scrapping friend. then I noticed that when she comments on someone's status, someone who is a total stranger to me, THE TOTAL STRANGER'S STATUS UPDATE shows up in my thread. So what this means is that if a friend of mine from high school comments on my status, random people from my hometown are going to be able to see what I said and want to be my friend. Or if I make a cheeky comment on a fellow scrapper's blog post, it could show up on the old lady who used to teach me in Sunday School's feed. Or if I comment on someone's status about how I got so busy on the computer I forgot to fix dinner, my MIL is now devastated that her poor baby has to fend for himself for dinner. I want to say things to certain people and only have the people *I* choose see what I'm saying. I don't want just anyone having access to me, my thoughts, my photos, my comments, etc.
