TGIF!!! What's up for the weekend?

So what are you all doing this weekend?

    -----

My week has been like this :dizzy.
I have two main agendas for the weekend: sleep in and drink Starbucks.
    Simple. Easily done, I hope.

We are praying :pray :pray :pray that our house in Va. finally closes today! (We moved back into our house in Florida that we rented out to a couple for a year and a half). The buyers have been switching stuff around (paperwork wise) so it's been quite frustrating to say the least!!! :waiting Were supposed to close on Aug. 31st so I'm sure you can imagine how annoyed we are about this. :furious

ack! brandi, i KNOW how stressful house stuffs can be. hang in there!!! and try not to beat anybody down if you can help it!

as for me, my weekend started today! i decided that i felt like taking a day off of being at home (i know i know, some of you would probably like to kick me right now.) so other than washing and folding laundry, i am not doing anything today. i'm even eating doritos and little debbies for lunch. :giggle
tomorrow isaac has a football game in the morning (and i get to work concession stand...:whoopdedoo then we are packing up and heading to ohio for the rest of the weekend. lucas' brother & his wife are having a football game party sat night, so we'll go hang out over there eat good food and watch what will HOPEFULLY be a much better game than last weekend.

    have a great weekend everyone!

Ooh I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Brandi..ugh..that's stressful! I so hope that's finally sorted soon!!

Rebecca, have fun at the concession stand! lol!

Debra, awboo for working the weekend.

Laura, have fun sleeping and coffeeing!!

Been an odd week...DG is out of town which of course means the law of "what can go wrong WILL go wrong" is in effect. So grateful that it's been nothing serious by any means, but have to chuckle that even if it's only a little 10 day window of time, that is the time when "normal" goes out the window. LOL!!! Between Bugga having her second cold of the school year and The Blackout yesterday and our a/c breaking I'm ready for relaxation and putting the final touches on a big project. The weekend started today too since school is out today due to the outage. Woot!

Tonight there is a pj book reading at Barnes and Noble so I'm thinking we may check that out! Sounds like fun!

We have the boys first soccer game, a friend's football game, 2 1-year old birthday parties, and beginning of small groups on Sunday night, so....pretty much a nice quiet weekend :) and I thought that Micah was going to be home this weekend and he has to work, so... score!!

It should be fun though. I am hoping anyway.

Hope everyone else has a good weekend.

Ugh.. sorry about the house stuff Brandi. That stuff is so frustrating because you can't do anything to scoot things along.

We have nothing going on tonight which I'm happy about. Tomorrow one kid has the first football game and then other has his first soccer game and then we hop in the car and drive two hours for a wedding. That should be fun though because my boys are going to Grama's for the night and Hubby and I got a hotel room and will be whooping it up!

First week of school down and everything went well, so that's good too.

Sounds like a nice relaxing weekend, Laura!

Brandi, sorry about the house issues! I know how frustrating that must be!

Boo, hiss for working the weekend, Deb!!!

    Rebecca, enjoy the games!

Sara, the pj's and Barnes and Noble sounds like fun!

Jenna, since you'll already be covered in dust from your garage, why don't you just come on over and clean mine out too! lol.

Becky, sounds like a nice weekend. We were thinking of starting a small group too. What are ya'll covering?

    Karen, yay for whoopie!! LMBO!

Not much for us. Looks like I'll still be scratching...I have a terrible case of contact dermatitis from the tape covering my incision sites, and I'm itching like CRAZZZZYYYY!! AHHHH!!! It's horrible! I had my hair did yesterday...I'm once again a brunette...now with bangs. And, we're having another couple over Sunday afternoon. Thought it'd be fun for the kids to play. So, I guess that means I'll be cleaning house tomorrow. :/

Tomorrow there's a dance class preview that I'm taking my 3 year old to so she can see if she'd like to take a dance class. We also have to spend some time cleaning out our garage, toy room and closet in preparation for a garage sale next weekend.

Today the hubster got off work early so we headed out for a late lunch at our favorite Chinese place, then we hit up the bookstore for a bit and then went to pre-order MW3 and signed up for the tournament on release night.
We are *planning* on laying low this weekend. We did so much running around last weekend we need a stay-at-home-and-be-lazy weekend. We've talked about maybe doing a bonfire with the whole weenie roasting/smore deal, definitely some grilling.

    Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Sorry you are having such a problem with the house Brandi. :(

I'm exhausted from a tough week at work. So I'm heading to bed right away (9:15pm!). We took the boys to pre-bowl since they will miss their league bowling tomorrow. We're off to my oldest son's football game. I am hoping this 33C weather doesn't extend to tomorrow or we're going to be very uncomfortable. We have to take him for 9:30 am for team photos and then hang around until game time which is 11:00am.

My hubby is home, he has been away a week. Saturday evening we are going to the house of an aquaintance whos daughter is in my son's class at school to talk about living in Malaysia. Sunday we will catch the ferry into the city and have shabu-shabu for lunch and walk around circular quay and the rocks, there is a cruising travel fair we might check out.

It's nice to be home once in a while.

I've had one of those crazy weeks too! I'm so glad the weekend is here. My youngest had his first soccer game this morning and he did great and scored three goals. My older one had a football game that didn't go as well. Now we're passed out on the couch. There is a festival going on near here that the kids want to go to but DH and I are exhausted. Part of me thinks maybe we should go because I know I would get great photos, lol. We'll see. I need some scrap time. I haven't had any this week.

Tomorrow we have a couple bbqs on the agenda after church.

Brandi I hope things work out soon with the house. I'm sorry you are going through such a hassle with it.

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
