I have moved around A LOT and have had nearly 40 homes. When I was putting together a chronological list of them all, the husband pointed out I actually forgot a whole country ie four homes in Australia. The story of these homes is actually the story of my life, and I loved the idea of a photobook that told that story. So I made a set of photobook templates and a formula and have made a start. I had a lot of fun with my Mum on whatsapp scouring google maps trying to work out the exact addresses of some of those long-ago homes. (She’s an 87 year marvel) For me, this project is a great example of how photos can be used again and again to tell stories in different ways. I hope my daughters will enjoy looking at it through the years. And even if they have no-one to hand it down to, it is a form of social history in itself. Plus, it just gives me pleasure to record and create with these photos and stories! I've started using my new "Lots of Pockets: matted" photobook templates for the album, for a clean and slightly traditional look. Excellent theme for an album. That's a lot of houses! I think I'd have enough for a photo pamphlet rather than a photo book.
Oh, I love idea of making pages for every home I've lived in. Wonder if I have photos? If I remember correctly, this house is my 18th house. Only 2 houses away from my 5th home.
