Welcome, Campers! We're so excited to kick off our very first Summer Camp here at The Lilypad! This post is your official guide to participating in challenges, tracking your progress, and understanding how to qualify for monthly rewards. Please read everything carefully. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to post in the forum or reach out to the host.

    1. Challenge Rules
While we want you to be creative and express your personal style, each challenge includes specific rules and requirements that must be followed to be eligible for prizes.
    1. Your layout must meet all of the requirements listed in the challenge description. Some prompts may require journaling, specific products, or a certain type of photo.
    2. You must create a unique layout for each challenge. Layouts must be new and created specifically for Summer Camp 2025.
    3. You may scrap in any style or format as long as the challenge rules are followed.
    4. Your layout must use at least 75% Lilypad product. Templates count as 15% toward that total. Fonts are exempt. Hybrid scrappers may use physical supplies but must still meet the digital product requirement. Retired products are allowed if they come from current Lilypad designers.
    5. Gallery credits must include the full name of each product and the full name of the designer. Linking to the product is required. Credit tracker screenshots will not be accepted; if used, you’ll be asked to revise your credits.

    2. Posting Your Layouts and Game Links
You must post your completed layouts in three locations:
    • The Lilypad Gallery (Summer Camp 2025 Gallery is waiting for you)
    • The specific challenge thread
    • Your personal Layouts & Game Links thread
Each layout or game must be posted in its own reply — please do not combine multiple entries into one post. Do not create placeholder posts in advance. Post as you complete each layout or game.

For complete step-by-step instructions on setting up and using your tracking thread, visit: Please Read: Layout & Game Link Guidelines

    3. Challenge & Game Schedule
Each week, two challenges and two games will be posted in that week’s Summer Camp forum. Posts will go live between 12:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time depending on the host's time zone and real-life schedule.

    4. Monthly Challenge Rewards
Each month (July and August) includes 9 challenges. Based on how many challenges you complete in a month, you’ll receive the following rewards:
    • 2 challenges = 10% off store coupon
    • 4 challenges = 20% off store coupon
    • 6 challenges = 30% off store coupon
    • 7–9 challenges = 30% off store coupon + entry into a $50 gift certificate drawing
You may skip up to two challenges and still qualify for the monthly coupon and prize drawing. Completing all 9 challenges does not increase your reward, but you’ll have two extra layouts done!
    • July challenges (Weeks 1–5): Layouts must be posted by July 31
    • August challenges (Weeks 5–9): Layouts must be posted by August 31
You only need to complete 1 challenge from Week 5 to count it for July and then 1 Challenge from Week 5 to count it for August

Please note that monthly rewards are separate from grand prizes and special drawings. For all other prize opportunities, including Guest Community Polly spots, **special drawing**, and gift certificate drawings, please visit:
Campfire Rewards: Summer Camp 2025 Prizes

    5. Need Help?
If you're unsure whether your layout meets the challenge requirements or you're having technical trouble, don’t panic! Post your question in the challenge thread, or contact the host directly.

Let’s make this an unforgettable Summer Camp together!

    xx-Esther

One question... how do you link to a product that is for a current TLP designer when the product is retired??? See challenge rule #5. Thanks.

Just put (retired product) after the product and designer name. The link will obviously not be possible, and marking the product as retired will enable the moderator to identify it as such.

Can we use retired Memory Pockets Monthlies? Some of the designers of those collabs are still here

I love this rule so much! I'm so happy to be able to use my very extensive stash of products!

Oh it's just as well someone mentioned in the store review thread about linking products for the challenges. I had totally missed reading that part of the rules. I've gone back into my two challenge pages and added the links. The main problem I have is that in PSE the layers don't show the name of the applied styles and I really, really struggle to remember what I've used. They're all either Mommyish or Paula Kesselring or NBK. I'm hoping that, because they make up such a minimal part of the overall design it doesn't matter if I don't add the links. I generally just say style applied to title by Mommyish, or style applied to paper by Paula Kesselring. Is that okay?

Credits linking is just a bonus, (or during MOC extra extra helpful & sometimes required then), the main thing is just crediting the product & designer. If able link, but crediting is ok!

*edit* Styles, likely just saying styles by whoever is perfectly okay! Those definitely are hard to remember exactly which product!
