When’s the last time you used a paper clip in real life? Gosh, the last time might have been when I was studying back in 2013-15 - I used to print out copies of the PowerPoint slides (2 to a page) and added my own notes to them then paper clipped each weeks PowerPoint slides together after class. I'm sure there are other times but I don't use them regularly that's for sure. When’s the last time you used a paper clip in scrapbooking? Umm, I don't. I'm too lazy to figure out how to attach it so it looks "right" on the page. Is it paper clip (with a space) or paperclip (no space)? Both....either or. I probably use both interchangeably Any favorite scrap products with paper clips? Not really cause I don't go looking for them. If you could choose any color paper clip, which color would you choose? Anything bright....I'm a sucker for colour

I prefer the silver ones, but am happy with any colour. I usually tend to lay them on to my layout and put a string or bow on them and that way I don't need to worry to "bend" the paper around them.
Happy National Paperclip Day! In real life, I think I might have held some papers together in my job at school in the last couple of months, but I'm not sure. I've definitely picked up a paperclip off the floor at school in the last month though; that happens a lot, even though I don't actually use them hardly ever. At home, I think I own about five specialty paper clips, but I haven't used a paperclip in years. It has been so long since I chose a paperclip for scrapbooking I have no guess and wouldn't dare spend time searching my pages for one. I don't like them because it takes work to make them look realistically attached and I preferred paint and stamps and other artsy stuff over paper style now. I've got Kim Jensen's cute paperclip shapes. Yellow of course!
I use paper clips every day. Have different stacks of papers on my desk with them. I have a Longaberger basket with 3 sections below my monitor. Two sections have 2 different sizes of paper clips. The 3rd section has a type of binder clip that is the vinyl colored material. Those don't hold as well as regular binder clips though. I don't usually use paper clips when scrapping. The question for me though is... vinyl (colored) paper clips or silver metal paper clips? I preferred the silver paper clips when I worked but prefer the colored paper clips at home! The silver paper clips tended to work better with the papers that had to be clipped together than the colored clips at work. The colored clips would pop off the stack of papers easily but the silver clips stayed put.
I’m too lazy to make them look right layered so I usually just lay them on top and don’t actually use them as clips lol Yay for anything bright! Great choice!
Yay for yellow! I love that you find paper clips on the floor at school. That must mean somebody uses them even though none of us do lol
Congrats on being the first to respond that uses paper clips! I never thought about the difference in material between the colored and the silver. Thanks for educating me! I’ll be sure to buy silver ones if I need to use them for paper stacks.

I like the bright colored coated paperclips best, just because they make everything a little more fun, but most of the time all I have are the silver ones because that's what I can get at work.

a few weeks ago.. we still use paper clips at home even though retired I space Paper and clip Kim's Cliptastics and also she has a great PS/PSE tutorial to show how to make paper clips digitally more realistic "The Bump Effect" I am a plain old silver but have used gold ones too!
