What chores do you dislike the most? Which do you like or don't mind doing? Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately?
I hate washing floors and vacuuming. I let my hubs do all the vacuuming so at least that's one chore I don't have to do. I don't mind dusting and tidying up. I like things to be organized and putter around the house. I don't have a schedule, I just fit chores in when I can. I will put off chores if there is something else I want to do, I'm not worried about letting the dusting go for a few days, etc. I should be getting the back deck ready for the summer, I need to get the BBQ cleaned, I need to wipe down the furniture frames and wipe the glass surround on the gas firepit. Out front there are just a few chairs and table to wipe down. I hope to get it all done this wkend.
What chores do you dislike the most? We live in an appartment with large balconies, and I hate washing the balcony floors, the shutters and the windows (their outside part - actually I dislike anything that's on the outside part of the house!). Which do you like or don't mind doing? Ironing, tidying up, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms and the kitchen, cooking, loading and unloading the dishwasher. Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? Mondays and Thursdays I get most of the deep cleaning done, and during the weekdays I do what's needed. What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? Shutters.
I dislike toilets and windows. Am very fortunate though that I have a cleaning lady that also does the ironing so I need to keep the washing done and the house tidy. Washing is Tuesday and Friday tidy is everyday, mostly before bed. Hubby does the dishes and I cook.
What chores do you dislike the most? All of them? Which do you like or don't mind doing? I don't mind cleaning the kitchen and tidying around the house. Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? As needed What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? Mopping the floors. I did them this weekend and it was long overdue. Whoops!
What chores do you dislike the most? Scrubbing the bathroom Which do you like or don't mind doing? Laundry, dishes, vacuuming, mowing the lawn (unless it's super hot and buggy out) Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? Laundry on Friday nights, dishes and mowing as needed, vacuuming on the weekends. What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? Scrubbing the bathroom
I don't mind laundry but don't have a set schedule for it. I do it once a week or so but not on any certain day.
What chores do you dislike the most? Mopping Which do you like or don't mind doing? Laundry Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? As needed (meaning when it’s a complete disaster and I can’t stand it any more lol) What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? Cleaning bathrooms
What chores do you dislike the most? Vacuuming & mopping the floors. Making beds isn't high on my fave job list either, I'm either fighting with fitted sheets, pillows or duvet inners, likely all three! Which do you like or don't mind doing? Dishes or Laundry Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? As needed and that works oh so well....not! What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? All of em'! If I can avoid or delay them I usually will. In all honesty probably garbage, recycling & food waste up to the road ready for pick up on Wednesday because it was absolutely hosing down this week so it didn't get done but laundry would also be high on the list too.
What chores do you dislike the most? Dusting the furniture and sweeping the floor. Which do you like or don't mind doing? I keep the kitchen clean at all times, immediately putting dishes in the dishwasher after I eat. I also wipe down the shower walls and squeegee the glass after every shower. And, I keep the bathroom counter clean at all times. Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? Only schedule is the cleaning lady, last Monday of the month at 8 a.m. What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? All of them. I've had some health issues the last couple of months that make it hard for me to do most chores. So I've only done what is absolutely necessary. Things are getting better but I still struggle with some things. Also, I am allergic to house dust so it has been hard for me to actually do that chore for years. If I were to do the same cleaning my cleaning lady does (takes her 3 hours), it would take me over a week since I can't do it all at once. I do the cleaning of my office and it takes me two days to do it since I can only work on it for a short time. I also have a bad back so mopping the floors (1400 sq feet), is hard for me. I do have an iRoomba that will get the dust but I can't do the mopping. I can do spot mopping if needed but not the whole house.
What chores do you dislike the most? Probably putting away laundry Which do you like or don't mind doing? I don't mind washing or drying laundry...just hate the putting it away part. Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? During the school year, I do most everything on Saturday. I pick up during the week, but dust, mop, etc on Saturday. What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? Time to change the bedsheets and I'm not a big fan of that one either.
What chores do you dislike the most? Ironing and defrosting my freezer. I tackled the last one by buying myself a "no defrost needed" freezer. Which do you like or don't mind doing? I don't mind doing the dishes, folding laundry. Do you have a schedule or get things done as needed? I get things done as needed. With work and all, I get things done when I start thinking to myself, 'This has to be done.' What is a chore that you should have but haven't done lately? Washing my windows in and outside.
I don't mind laundry either except I have to carry the basket from the third floor down to the first which is good exercise I guess but I hate going up and down all those stairs.
I live in a one story house with a full basement. The laundry is in the basement. When my parents built the house, they had a "laundry chute" built in. It is in the bathroom so I can just throw the dirty laundry down it to the rolling cart that sits below it. However, I still have to carry the laundry up the stairs when it is done.
