My mom used her middle name. She was also a teacher and had to initial many things over the years for students. She taught elementary then 7th grade. She resorted to using her middle initial because the students made fun of just the first/last initials (BM). Before she was married it was BS. First/Maiden/Last wasn't much better (BSM) so she used BJM.
My middle names are Evelyn Grace. When I was a kid I hated my name b/c it was so different and I got teased a lot. It wasn't so common back then to have unique names. I wanted to use "Grace" but my parents, especially my mom, would have been upset by that. My uncle used his middle name a lot and it caused so much confusion b/c I'd talk to people that knew him by his middle name and some that knew him by his first. It was too much trouble so I gave that idea up for myself.
My middle name is ..... Lenise I have never ever come across anyone else with that name. My mother used to love reading English magazines so she possibly got it from one of those. I never did ask why I was given that middle name.

My middle name is Marie. I'm not sure where that came from. My first name came from a family that my grandparents were friends with. Shannon is their last name. My son's name came from my mom's maiden name. My granddaughter's middle name is Ann Marie. I love that she has my middle name as part of hers.
I'm Judith Ann but as you can see by my signature I go by Judy 99% of the time. I use Judith on all official documents. I don't know whether the Ann was because my mother's name was Anna or just because Ann is like the universal middle name for girls - it goes with every name. Actually my mother told me when I was in my late teens that my name was supposed to be "Judith Ann" like "Mary Ann" - all one name. I told her that it was too late for that when everyone had been calling me Judy for my entire life! My son has the middle name of one of his grandfathers as his middle name - Royce. When his first child was born, he was given Royce as his first name. My daughter was going to be named Ann Elise, but then I realized that people would think her name was Annelise. So she got Elizabeth Ann instead. I like the fact that my mother's name is carried down by another two generations after her.
My mom didn’t give any of us middle names. Weird since all her brothers and sisters had middle names. Also, only my daughter has a middle name, I gave up with my boys!
Mine is Rose. I was named after my two grest grandparents. My first name Kari was my dad's grandfather name Carey. And my middle name Rose my mom's grandfather And all three my kids have middle names with r Bianca Rose.(Rose from me) Kai Raven And Asia Rae (Teri Rae was my twin who died at birth)
