How is everyone feeling after Super Bowl Sunday? I'll be honest: Monday is hitting kind of hard today. Just sitting here at my desk feels like a lot of work! And I didn't even drink yesterday! I think it was too much carb loading over the weekend. Satruday we went to the movies and had too much popcorn and then Sunday chips and other junk food! Did you watch? Happy or sad or indifferent? Not really a fan of either team but happy to see the Eagles win What was your favorite ad? My friends and I were yapping through a lot of them but I looked at some of the this morning and I think the weird Dunkin one was actually my favorite. How did you feel about the half-time show? I don't listen to a lot of rap and didn't really know any of the songs so it's hard for me to judge. The "show" seemed a little boring to me since I guess we're used to a more splashy spectacle at the Super Bowl. Did you have good Super Bowl food? My friend cooked but we had pigs-in-a-blanket, wings and taquitos; chips and guac, shrimp cocktail and a charcuterie. And nutella cheesecake for dessert. Definitely carb and calorie overload! Any other Monday thoughts? Memes?

Rooted for Hurts/Saquon... and my numbers! Happy since I won $1100. Wooo Hooo! What was your favorite ad? Clydesdale horse delivering beer ad. How did you feel about the half-time show? Meh. I knew who he was, and a couple songs, but it wasn't great, and it wasn't horrible. My kids liked it. I had to read up about the Drake beef with Kendrick. Did you have good Super Bowl food? I'm easy to please.... veggies/dip, little crescent weenies, chili/chips, etc.

They couldn't win forever! I thought it was kind of a boring game overall though. What was your favorite ad? I was cooking through a lot, so I'm not sure. How did you feel about the half-time show? It was meh for me, but I don't know much about Kendrick Lamar or his music. There were a few parts that were cool, but overall didn't seem as exciting as usual. I feel a little bad for him though because all I was seeing on Facebook was how horrible it was. Did you have good Super Bowl food? We had queso in the crockpot as always, the highlight of the party for me haha.
I feel like there's a real generational divide on this one. I was sort of meh on it but a lot of my friends and my hubby didn't like it. All of our kids, though, (age 20-24) thought it was good!

What was your favorite ad? I saw the Budweiser ad early and it is always a favorite. I did just see the WeatherTech ad this morning. That was cute.

Stella Artois with Matt Damon and David Beckham (I kept forgetting to watch the ads, lol) How did you feel about the half-time show? It was just ok. I was underwhelmed. We don't watch the SB and instead we binged a few shows. We also saw the first episode of Watson and enjoyed it. I do love to see the commercials so this reminds me that I need to go stream them. Off I go...
I didn't even know what teams were playing or that it was THIS weekend until Friday when I heard people at work talking about it. No one in my family has any interest in sports. I had a good Monday. Every conversation I had today included exchanging hopeful thoughts about having another snow day. We're expecting something like 8" tomorrow. And indeed, just as I arrived home from work, we got the notice of schools being closed Tuesday.

What was your favorite ad? I loved the Matt Damon/David Beckham one and the Shane Gillis, Post Malone and Peyton Manning one. I also loved the Rocket Money ad when the whole crowd was singing Country Roads. How did you feel about the half-time show? Kendrick Lamar is not a favorite of mine just because I don't listen to a lot of rap, but I did appreciate his artistry and symbolism. I don't think I was his target audience and that's fine lol. Did you have good Super Bowl food? We had pizza rolls, potato skins, taquitos, and cheese fries. Any other Monday thoughts? Memes?
Same, I'm sure if you wanted to watch it you could either at a bar or pub or on pay for view tv here but it's not really a thing especially as it's on a Monday afternoon here
How is everyone feeling after Super Bowl Sunday? It was a pretty normal Monday for me yesterday. Did you watch? Happy or sad or indifferent? We watched with a couple of friends, so that was fun. I wish it had been a little more competitive, but the Eagles definitely dominated the whole game. We went home mid-3rd quarter and then the Chiefs finally decided to score. Lol. What was your favorite ad? ? The Martha Stuart one was pretty funny, but none of them really wowed me. I guess I miss the beer one with Matt Damon who I love... so I'll have to go find that one on YouTube. Lol How did you feel about the half-time show? My son LOVES rap and Kenrick so I was watching so I could discuss with him. Our friends' TV really has awful sound, so I couldn't hear the lyrics at all and I didn't know his songs, so it was hard to connect too much. I did know about the battle between him and Drake and chuckled at the digs he put into his show for Drake. Did you have good Super Bowl food? We ordered pizzas from a local favorite place and then I brought cheese, crackers, mixed fruit and some veggies. Nothing too fancy, but it was good.

I don't think I had a favorite - maybe Dunkin Donuts? A lot of them felt weird and not that funny. How did you feel about the half-time show? Loved. I love Kendrick and I think he is SO talented. This performance was about way more than his feud with Drake - if you are interested you can google the layers of meaning in this performance. Here are just a few tweets that I think illustrate why some were bored and totally missed what Kendrick did: "The reviews of a Pulitzer Prize holding rap artist's halftime show are almost as segregated as Sunday mornings in America" "Best cultural analysis of the halftime show I've read so far: "Black music protesting white political terror in registers they never hear; reminiscent of ancestral spirituals embedded with instructions for runaways" - Clarence Okoh " Did you have good Super Bowl food? Yes! Which meant I ate too much - I made taquitos, queso & guac, and we had lots of junk food and treats as well.

I think that’s a first - crying during a Super Bowl commercial. How did you feel about the half-time show? It’s the only reason my kids wanted to watch. Did you have good Super Bowl food? I wish. I sent my daughter with veggie chips and chocolates to her boyfriend’s party. I think I just drank water while we watched.
