Hello! I am reintroducing myself since it feels like a new start here at TLP! I joined in 2015 I think because of the Project Mouse Faniversary! Still love Project Mouse! I started digi because I found it faster to scrapbook with my little Nolan and less mess. I still have a huge paper stash - Nolan's craft supplies now, basically! I love all things DIY. My other hobbies include cross stitch, crochet (not often), baking and any sort of craft really. Need more hours in the day! I also love traveling. I have way to many photos and scrap chronologically. Working through Nov/Dec 2023 right now. I feel so way behind! I am happy TLP is still here and I am going to try to be more active in the forums and gallery, I love the people here!
What a fabulous idea . . . Well it's nice to 'meet' you What are the favourite spots from your many travels? I think we all have too many photos to scrap vs the amount we have, a legitimate problem for sure! in good company!! Here's to a wonderful creative new year for us
Love the reintroduction Jagruti!! I switched to digi for the same reason - less mess and hard around littles to do paper scrapping.
lovely to "meet" you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you more as you become more active in our wonderful community. I enjoy seeing your pages in the gallery
@jagruti patel - Thanks for reintroducing yourself. I switched to digi for the same reasons and I'm glad to know I'm not the only scrapper who feels like they're behind. I may never catch up with my scrappin, but I'll have fun while I'm trying. Besides, digi scrappin is my therapy so it's a win all around!
So many favourite travel spots and so many I still want to see! Top of the list is Japan, Nova Scotia/PEI, Alberta...
I love this reintroduction! I don’t know that I’ve ever introduced myself lol oops! I think you’re doing great if you’re caught up through 2023! I’m currently working on April 2024 but there are a lot of previous years that are non-existent…
Love this!! We will all be able to get to know each other a bit more Sounds like we have something in common! I also love pretty much all things crafty & rotate between them all as time allows. Crocheting is so fun, definitely something I haven't done in a long time though! That's pretty awesome if you are working on 2023 scrapping!! It's an impossible thing to keep up with for sure!
Hi Jagruti! It's funny that we "know" so many people in scrap digiland but don't really know a lot about them. I love your clean, uncluttered scrapping style! Thanks for the re-intro! It was nice to learn a little more about you! I love real life crafts too. I had to give up crochet since it was giving me arthritis in my ring finger (weirdly) but this year I'm going to try out needle felting. I also do a little embroidery and occasionally knit really badly.
I loved learning how you found TLP and am so glad you did. I've loved seeing so much of your wonderful pages over the years here. I also didn't know you were a sometimes crocheter too. I love to crochet and have been itching to find a new project for the winter months.
Ooh I've done a little needle felting. Mostly little animal kits. They turn out wonky...not like the photo...but I love them!
Hi Jagruti! I agree with you, I also need more hours in a day! I love trying out new creative hobbies
Hi Jagruti!! I love your re introduction! I too was big on counted cross stitch which is one of the reasons i took up digital scrapbooking because my hands would cramp and eyes couldn’t see too well anymore with the counting! i love watching Nolan grow through the years in your pages and love seeing the adventures you and your family have! Thank you too for always coming to my chats. I enjoy having you there with me!!
hello! I too started digi scrapping because my kids were little and it was soooo much easier! I cannot even begin to imagine how much I wouldn't have done if all I'd done was stay with traditional paper scrapping!!
Welcome back! I do paper scrapbooking too and I am still convincing myself to get back to it again. Hopefully, this year will be the year that happens hahaha, and yes, my craft stash is now my daughter's craft stash as well.
These re-introductions are great. Thankyou for sharing yours. I am also going to strive to be more active here this year.
