Hi ladies! It's been a loooong time since I hang out here. And that's because life has gotten quite hectic (momlife + freelancing) that this hobby has to go into the back burner for a bit. So, I have a client from the US that I want to send a custom gift to, and I'm considering between Shutterfly and Snapfish. I'm thinking of ordering a custom mousepad (since she's a web developer). What do you think about these 2 companies? Are they good? Or are there any other options I should consider? PS: In case you're wondering, I live in Malaysia by the way. Thank you in advance for your inputs!
I live in South Africa and use Snapfish UK to send photobooks to my son and his wife. I have been super happy with their speed, service and quality.
It's been a LONG time since I used Snapfish, so I can't really remember anything about their quality. I've only used Shutterfly in the last 15 years or so and I've been happy with the quality of the photo books and I've also gotten a few smaller things like graduation cards, fridge magnets, deck of cards, etc and I've been happy with everything from them.
I've actually bought a mousepad from Shutterfly. It was 3 years ago, but it turned out really nice! It was thicker foam, and felt high quality. I liked it a lot. It lasted for a few years before I moved to a big long mousepad. I haven't used Snapfish in quite awhile, so I can't speak to them.
Thank you so much ladies for your replies @StefanieS @Karen @bestcee ! I looked at Trustpilot for their reviews, and there were some really negative ones there. That's why I came here to ask you, because I know I can trust your perspectives. Seems like both are good places to go with, so I think I'd choose the one that still has some discounts going on
Good luck with your order, @zakirahzakaria! It's been quite a while since I've used either Snapfish or Shutterfly, so this thread is of interest...
Its owned by the same company! same with tinyprints and lifetouch . I worked for Lifetouch in JC Penny Photostudios for a few years as a manager but it is all owned by Lifetouch. it is all about finding who has the best deal at the time, but a few secrets I learned are "some coupons will go to all the sites", if one has lower prices the next week or so the other will have simlar deal... feel free to ask me any questions .. I am quite knowledgeable about all these companies and have delt with all of them in depth
Ladies, my client has received her mousepad! She loves it so much that she's thinking of framing it instead of using it . I'm so glad I came here to ask for your opinion on this. You ladies are the best!
