Status of MOC 2025

While sad, it makes total sense that it would be time to retire the event. I feel grateful to have found the site just before year 5. It's been a privilege to play.

Dear Julie - wishing you complete and speedy healing. Thank you for all you have done to make MOC happen in the past. Maybe this 2025 January without the delightful distraction of MOC I will work on other projects and take a look at the challenges of earlier MOC years.

 

Ouch! Hope you’re better sooner! Will miss MOC it’s how I started with Lilypad challenges but thanks for opening up past years.

These past few months I've struggled to get any layouts done so right now doing the monthly challenges is enough for me. Frankly, once MOC prizes went to only some, it got harder for me to put my heart into it.

 

Oh that sounds painful and wish you a speedy recovery.

I think we were together on a team in a different scrapping site that closed, and I was looking for a new home, so I came in for a month and stayed forever.

Perfect! I had a colleague who said that 12 is the perfect answer to everything in the universe. LOL!

I missed all of MOC 12 due to emergency surgery so I feel for you, Julie. I was looking forward to this one, but the idea of going back to scrap what I missed is brilliant. And this time I don't have to stress about deadlines. Win, win!

This is a great idea. I have often thought if I had access to do old challenges when I need some ideas that it could be useful. Not sure if it would take too much effort to do make accessible though.

I'm saddened that MOC is retiring, but everything good must come to an end one day. I will happily cherish the memory of having completed only 1 MOC throughout the 12 years, which is MOC 2022.
