I usually eat leftovers for breakfast. I eat between 10 and 11 am. I typically have a piece of fruit with my breakfast, lately it's been peaches. Today however, I just cooked up some sausage links and ate a few with some cheese wrapped around them. I also ate a little early because I've been up for a long time already. As a kid I usually had eggs or pancakes for breakfast. We only got cereal when we visited my grandparents as it was "too expensive" according to my mom!
I’m having leftovers for lunch right now. Meatballs! I’ve also been enjoying peaches lately thanks to my mom’s peach tree. We tore out our peach trees to level our yard so I’m very glad I can still get some right off the tree at my mom’s.

my usual breakfast is a leak and garlic omelette. I eat 1-2 hours after waking up and eat it at our dining table in the kitchen.
I’m with you and like to eat breakfast foods for an evening meal. My kids love breakfast sandwiches with eggs so we’re always sad that restaurants only serve them during breakfast hours.
Your breakfasts sound delicious. My daughter just insisted I buy the Jimmy Dean biscuits! She eats them after school though; not for breakfast lol
Your childhood breakfast sounds a lot like mine! I used to love Golden Grahams but don’t eat much boxed cereal any more. Your breakfast and reading by the river sounds very relaxing.
I’ve been having Greek yogurt with added protein powder lately to get more protein. It’s pretty good! I like adding granola for crunch but might have to try chia now that you mention it.
Mmmm an omelette sounds delicious. That’s one way I prefer my eggs but I usually only buy them from restaurants. I’ll have to try making my own.
I eat half a whole wheat bagel and coffee most mornings although sometimes I will have oatmeal or a soft boiled egg on a piece of toast. I do love breakfast foods all day and often made waffles for dinner before the kids flew the nest. My mom was a health food mom before it was trendy so we were only allowed “healthy” cereals for breakfast back in the day - like regular cheerios and Raisin Bran. Nowadays I wouldn’t even consider those a particularly good breakfast but better than the sugar cereals that I wanted.
