My computer crashed last month and I lost everything on it:cry
I am in the process of setting up a new one at last but I need your help! ;)
What scrapbooking fonts should I really look for to get started again? Which ones are your favorites? :love

Dealerplate California, Traveling Typewriter and Portable Remington are the ones I use for journaling. For titles I use so many, can't recall any names right now, and I'm out of town.

But I always add what fonts I use in my credits, if you want to waste your time browsing my gallery. :giggle

I'm a big fan of Darcy Baldwin Fonts & Fonts for Peas. In terms of typewriter fonts my two most used are Traveling Typewriter or Linowrite

Yes for any specific fonts especially from February 2023 they should be listed in my credits - 99% of them will come from one of the above sources though.

My two favorites for journaling are The Skinniness and The Mary Kate by Heather Joyce, but I have tons of her other ones that I mix in here and there. The Maribel ( @Mrivas is that yours?) and The Anne by Heather Joyce are other favorites.

I also love the Traveling Typewriter and use that one a ton on my monthly review pocket pages.

@Karen OMG! It may be, it was such a long time ago but I do remember her making my font. Can’t find it in the shop though.

So many fonts, so little time!... I am a total fontaholic, have way too many fonts from which to choose.

But a few of my standbys are Special Elite, Bebas Neue, Noto Serif & Sans, and Century Schoolbook

I forgot about those. I was so addicted at one time, collecting, saving ones that came with each new operating system, what came with software purchased, like publisher. I did buy the ins/outs by heather, but never unzipped, only new gotten for years are ones used in templates. Pet prev, wish the template noted what ones, be free or ones from heather.

Heather Joyce sure has some lovely fonts, but I've never got any, since they don't have the Scandinavian letters. So many great fonts out there, that turns out basically useless for me. I do have a couple of fonts that don't have those letters, but if I use them, it's only for titles - and then I really have to chose words that don't have those letters.

Here are a few of my fav's that I love to use for titles:
    Baby Sunshine
    Corn Kernels
    Dolica Kathy
    Magnolia Sky
Shorelines Script Bold (don't have the Scandinavian letters but LOVE!)

Another one I use, mainly for journaling is XBAND Rough.

Also - I love this font - created from my own handwriting: MTF Eva's Hand

These are my favors the moment, but I love spending time looking for new fonts

    Tox Typewriter
    Very Simple Chalk
    Quentin
    Old NewspaperTypes
    KG When Ocean Rise
    Avocado Creamy
    Albersthal Typewriter

    all from DaFont.com I think

One of my absolute favorites is Baby Sunshine. Corona Typewriter 3 and Bradley Hand are also big for me. And if you are in to art journaling then For the One Hundredth Time is a must have.

Confessions of a confirmed fontaholic: though I already have way too many fonts, this thread is encouraging me to seek out still more typefaces!

Way back in the day I collected IBM Selectric typeballs, lol! They were pricey, and if you weren’t careful with them the “points” snapped off and the typeball no longer worked.

    Fontaholic here as well =)
My most used typewriter font is JMH Typewriter
A couple of the cooler serif fonts I like to use for titles & big numbers are K22 Didoni & Abril Fatface
My favorite wide script font is Halimun
My favorite Script type fonts are Master Script, Corona Real Script and Holiday Party
Heavitas is a nice sans serif block type font for clipping papers to.
I like Alfa Slab One and Chunk 5 for serif block type fonts for paper clipping.

I'm going to stop now lol Good luck building your font collection again =)
