I just wanna cry. During a system update on my Mac we had a power break and now I think it broke it... I can hear it start but all I get is a black screen. I tried different tricks I found online but nothing will work. Hopefully I can find someone who can fix it so it at least will work. But what if all my layouts are lost now.....
That is awful! I'm so sorry for the computer troubles. My guess is that if it is starting up that at least your files should be safe on your hard drive. Sounds like a graphic card maybe died? Maybe they can replace that and you'll be good to go again! Even if they can't fix it, someone should be able to get the hard drive out and get your files off it. Fingers crossed for you!

I hope that technician can work some magic for you. I'm on week four of a new computer. I broke my right eye from crying so much (it won't stop tearing). lol What a nightmare!
So sorry that your old one isn't able to be fixed. A computer is always fun... except for having to pay for it! Lol. Were you able to save your files?
