Paula, please tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hello! My name is Paula, and here's a little about myself in the design world.

How long have you been designing?

I've been involved in paper scrapbooking for many years. In May 2006, I made the leap to digital scrapbooking and have been passionate about it ever since.

Since the passing of my beloved dog Stella in September last year, my creative focus has been off. It's as if a piece of my inspiration went with her. I found myself engulfed in deep mourning through December, a period during which my creativity seemed to pause. However, I've made a vow to myself this year: to return to crafting incredible kits and diligently work towards reigniting my creative spark—essentially, to get my mojo back.

How do you come up with your color palette or theme for your kits?

I'm not a huge fan of the whole color palette thing, but often, an illustration catches my eye, and I try to match the colors from it in a new kit. As for themes, I usually follow the most significant events of each month or season.

What are your go-to snacks or music while designing?

I love apple juice and snacking on any tasty treats like chocolate or anything that's unfortunately fattening! LOL. I rarely listen to music, but I always listen to my favorite preacher on YouTube talking about some topic or praying the rosary. It calms me!

Show us a few of your favorite products.

I've gone through phases where ephemera were my favorites, then watercolors, and now I'm in a phase of love collection with themes like "Winnie the Pooh."​

What is the favorite page that you have scrapped?

My favorite is now the one I created for last year's MOC, at a time when I couldn't even imagine that I would lose her...​

I have been with Paula's CT since at least August 2018 and what drew me to her products was her wonderful ephemera. To me it always reminded me of going to my Grandmother's and opening up a draw to find many of the ephemera elements Paula reflects in her products. The vintage and retro papers and elements really speak to me and coordinate so well in my love for making Heritage pages. In addition, Paula has some great Photoshop styles and actions to accent her product line, along with Commercial Use product. Her Alphas and watercolor paint items are the perfect additions to all of our pages.
