January 17 | String-a-ling

I used 11 strings as the base for my cluster.

 

I love the embroidery trend in paper crafts right now . . . so that was my focus. Such great products in the store to help me accomplish this layout.

This was a really fun challenge

 

This is the most string I've ever put on a layout, so this was definitely a challenge! I hope it's prominent enough!

 

used a lot of stringbats in my background and created a frame with strings from the kit...

I didn't know what direction I was going to go with this - did a search in my folder for string... and this background came up! Perfect! Thanks for the challenge - it was a memory I for sure needed to get down into our yearly scrapbook.

 

Thanks for the challenge! It WAS a challenge for me! I could only find one straight string in my stash. I found tons of other strings but couldn't do anything with them. I do not like my page at all but I had to finish it. I'm so far behind!

 

I see string art things pop up in my Pinterest feed pretty regularly and they make me want to do one in real life, but then I don't. So I made a digital one instead
