Please post your favourite for the week here so that we can all be inspired and we can encourage one another and leave some extra love. The gallery moves so quickly during MOC that some times layouts we are extra thrilled with are over looked. Here is the spot for some extra attention.
I loved this one, seeing the similarities in the genes and just enjoying the process of documenting and being connected to my memories.
What a great idea @StefanieS ! Mine would have to be this one. For once I didn't use a template and I like how the overall look of it turned out.
I'm happy with all my layouts for week 1, but I'd say this is my favorite. It took forever to get it all as I wanted.
I'm not sure I have a favourite layout, but day 5 took me to a new out of the box idea for scrapbooking techniques. I've used torn edges before, but never like this
I have chosen #2 Bridge the Gap because I had fun using products by CD Muckosky as I do not mind working with bright colours.
This is a tough one as I love them all, Stefanie @StefanieS , but I am going to have to go with the page I made for my own challenge as I love seeing 4 generations of my family
This was a tough choice. I have to admit that, although I am usually a dressed-down template user, I really like my filled template page. But I'm choosing my Day 6 page as my favorite layout because of that moment when I realized that I needed to take the journaling down to a deeper level.
These are my cousin's grandchildren but I love them as if they were my own. And, thankfully the family shares photos with me to scrap. They get Shutterfly books in return!
Well..... I've been insanely busy lately, so I've only managed to finish the Day 1 page and that's only because I was on vacation that day. Lol! I'll have to come back once I finish the first week of challenges.
For me it had to be day 3 - the filled template. I used to make all my pages this way, but I've adapted a bit more simple style lately. It was fun to do something like this again. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well this turned out. See, of all the photos I took, these three were the only ones that turned out decently and I was wondering how I was going to scrap them. I'm so happy with the result!
I think this is my favorite from week one. I don't usually use masks for photos so it was good to do something a little different.
Karen, you inspired my page. I LOVE this page so much. I had no idea what to do. I tried it once with some pictures of the manatees we saw in Florida and I just could not make it work. I went looking through photos to see what I could find. These pictures were perfect! I do love all my other pages too but I am proud of this one. I did something I had never done before.
Shannon! That makes me so happy. I'm so glad my page was helpful. I love yours. Your pictures are perfect!
I loved this one from the mask challenge- my photos came together so easily and then the better together word art just worked so well!
Visually, this one is my favorite. And no, I don't have a cat. But I stop over a few times a week to feed her and her big brother while my SIL is gone. This kitty is even cuter in real life.
I'm so tickled to see people enjoyed masking photos for day 4 I haven't completed all week 1 challenges and I really do like every page, but this one just makes me happy because it features my 3 boys.
