Such a good challenge, quite hard and it didn't turn out quite as I would like but here's mine:

I used the masks to showcase photos from a recent trip to Tucson. This is a companion layout to the Filled template layout from Challenge 3.

Thanks for the cool masks Nicole... I duplicated and merged, several together, for the needs of my photos... Fun challenge...

I loved this challenge so much, I don't use masks enough but love them when I do! These photos are connected because they are the same project (redoing kitchen cabinets) using masks/blending modes though I got some gray peeking through in stead of the white primer (and thought that was cool because they ended up being a dark gray & I had such a hard time in the process picturing them gray)

I used two masks and an overlay technique with black and white photos. Then I used a different blending technique to expose the true vibrant colors in the first photo to fill the page. Thanks for this challenge @SeattleSheri and the linked tutorials. I played with this so much before settling on these treatments and this page.
The photos are connected as they were taken on the same day in different parts of the Arboretum.

Starting MOC 12 with some practical scrapping. Thank you for the inspiration. The photos I have from our diving expedition are precious, but aren't really great and I wasn't sure how I was going to scrap them. And then I saw this challenge. Exactly what I was looking for. I have used several of the provided masks to connect the two photos above. The scene in the bottom right corner is created using three overlapping masks each with a different photo.

Thank you for this great challenge Sheri! And a big thanks to Nicole for the masks! I used two; one for the big photo and one for the lower left photo. The photos are all taken on our walk today.
