This one came up in my library holds list a week+ ago. I did finish it yesterday. It was really just ok for me. I didn't love this one and I didn't hate it. Spoiler: overall impressions I think it tries to be too many things and doesn't really craft a great story in any one of those angles: mystery, remaking/exploring oneself, romance, family & friendships. In some ways it was just way too over the top on so many levels and a bit slap stick. However, it did wrap up nicely.
I finished this one about a week ago and forgot (as usual) to come back here and comment on it. Lol. I loved the development of women friendships in this book. Spoiler: Maybe spoiler? There were a lot of rough situations for the characters and it was fun seeing them make their way through their obstacles with the help of their friends too. I loved the ending. Yes, it was a bit predictable... I didn't care one bit! It was still a fun read.
I enjoyed this one because I didn't have too many expectations for it! Spoiler: My Thoughts I thought this was a good summer read. It was light enough to breeze through and had enough substance to not be too sappy. I enjoyed the female friendships and the found family.
Love this one too! Spoiler A little far fetched and predictable, but a light fun read that wasn't about romance- sometimes nice to have those books! I loved the women friendships that shined throughout too!
