Yahoo! The summertime months around me are finally here! For us that means the kids are out of school and will enjoy some more freedom. For the adults that means I don't have to help the youngest with his pre-calculus homework anymore and we have a bit less schedule for running around. Otherwise it's work as usual. What does June bring for you guys? Looks like another fun month of activities around here and the June BYOC is just around the corner! You're gonna love it!

Can’t believe it’s June already…this year is flying way too fast (I say this most years to be honest)
I'm on summer vacation! My last day of work was May 25 and the very next day I drove up to Boston. My first time there and I loved it! I walked around a lot and got to know Boston Common and Faneuil Marketplace and the surrounding area. Then I had a day in Cape Cod, followed by a day on the Hudson River in New Jersey, looking across at the NYC skyline, the closest I've ever been to NYC during daylight. (Visiting my husband's relatives in Newark in 1996, we went to Madison Square Garden for hockey game, during which I fell asleep, and I remember nothing of the city!) The last day was a bonus, planned at the last minute to cut our drive home from Massachusetts in half. Just got back yesterday evening and having a day of rest today, other than laundry and making my summer to-do list. I am off for the entire months of June and July before going back to work in early August. Maybe I'll get back into scrapping! Going to add the TLP calendar to my calendar now.
Sounds like an awesome trip! And I'm totally jealous that you get June and July off! That would be so awesome!
